If he loses out on MVP and it pisses him off and focuses him more for the playoff run I am fine with that.
The addition of Adams was such a great move not only for the Rams Super Bowl chances but also for Staffords hall of fame push.
A QB doesn’t get in the hall based on just longevity or just a Super Bowl win.
Multiple pro bowl and or MVPs are heavily weighted. This is where Stafford is lacking.
But with Davante and Puka (two elite future hall of fame WRs) Stafford might get an MVP and a second Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP, which would get him in the hall.

That's what I've been trying to say about the HOF.
As for the MVP, I'm 99.9% he will be shut out no matter what Stafford accomplishes.... I think they will give it to Josh Allen

First round exit, and they are gonna lose their next two games........THEN....... Josh Allen will stumble all over the field and manage to get the next three wins and he will be the bell of the ball. And Aaron Schatz (nerd extraordinaire) will be rubbing his pecker with all his other buddies to the MVP balloting box.

Stafford clinched that MVP with that final performance.
He has 15 more TD passes then Maye and that is impossible to ignore. Even with Mayes 4 rushing TDs is a big difference.
He possibly clinched his hall of fame bid as well but a 2nd Lombardi would for sure clinch that.
