I'm not saying it's not possible that I missed it and my son also missed it but I was just in Newport on Sunday and don't recall it. I lived in a town 7 miles away from there from 2007 to 2017 and drove right by that building (Eagle's lodge) literally thousands of times. I don't recall ever seeing it and neither does my son. It would be pretty sad if it is actually there.

Well... according to google maps, it is right there. Maybe it doesn't really exist....
However, I just checked BING maps - and though it is not nearly as clear as google - it is there....
