Nope. I need to get one ordered.

I knew Vesia was dealing with a family issue, but this is just horrible.

I have always appreciated your sensitive soul. That's such a terrible thing to go through.
No parent should ever go through the death of their child.
I dunno man. He took a heavy favorite and barely won. I realize our bats were asleep for most of the series but there were some really key plays, bonehead base running by the jays, and huge at bats from unlikely sources that bailed him out. Not to mention Will freaking Kline pitching 79 scoreless pitches. In case anybody missed it that was a managerial master class from Roberts.

I would have put Kershaw in after Shohei had pitched 6 innings after playing 18 innings the night before. That's the only move I disagreed with in the world series.I dunno man. I thought Roberts had the knack of usually making the right call during this series.I dunno man. He took a heavy favorite and barely won. I don’t want this to go into bagging on Roberts. I thought he did a decent job. I just think there were a lot of other things that really went into winning that series outside of coaching. I suppose the same can be said for any 7 game series.I thought Roberts had the knack of usually making the right call during this series.
Like Boche used to do with the Giants....just had a knack for the right sub at the right time.
Kline was out of desperation but dude came through and he didn't pull him early into his outing. I know the guy who help train him during the off season and Kline works his ass off....cool to see an underdog come through.
The D subs came through every time and he had a good feel for using his pitchers in different roles.
I have to give Roberts credit.
I have been saying the one bummer about this series is I cant really complain about Roberts again.....he earned his legacy.
True.I don’t want this to go into bagging on Roberts. I thought he did a decent job. I just think there were a lot of other things that really went into winning that series outside of coaching. I suppose the same can be said for any 7 game series.
Regardless, it was the greatest series I’ve ever watched. Absolutely amazing.
Every manager is only good if the players perform. Look at the Kays kid Yesavage, he pitched a great start. It looked smart to bring him in in relief. But it didn't work out, that's not on the Jays skipper.True.
The truth is the difference between a "good" move and not is whether it works out or not.
There is an element of luck for sure.
Agreed.Say what you want about Roberts. But 5 World Series appearances and 3 championships? In ten years? I don't care that they had all that talent. That is damn impressive for a manager.
