Holy shit is anyone else watching the game?

Foster went down but the refs didn't blow the whistle and he got up and ran for a TD... Lions threw the challenge flag but they said it wasn't reviewable and assessed the Lions a 15 yard penalty PLUS the 80 yard TD where he was obviously down counted.

Because the Lions threw the flag the play was no longer reviewable, and therefore they weren't allowed to review the play because they can't benefit from a review if they throw the flag like that. So it's Schwartz's fault the play stands.

Yeah - good thing we're dealing with the "real" refs now. Iron Lion must be spinning hard right now. Welcome to what we've been dealing with all year - eh?

That's total bull crap. The rule was intended to keep HCs from influencing the booth review, but if they are supposed to review ALL TD's anyway, why not review it? Sure, nail Schwartz for the flag, but don't allow a huge mistake like that to go unreviewed.

That's an expensive technicality. The competition committee better revise that rule to not include plays automatically reviewed.

It's a stupid rule, but it's the rule.

I'd be pissed too. Actually, I kinda laughed when the playclock clicked ZERO and the ball was snapped...and no delay of game penalty. LOL. HAHAHAHA FUCKYOU REFS!!!!

I kinda wanted the Lions to win, they deserve to win on Thanksgiving. 9 years w/ a Thanksgiving loss.
