One play that was a foul against a defensive player you can clearly see Donald get hit with an illegal high low block. Never called.

More possible Television viewership draw conspiracy theory from me.

Tennessee ends up being the onlyAFC team to whoop the Rams. The same team the Rams beat in the Super Bowl 21 years ago.

It sets up an interesting Super Bowl rematch. I could see Fisher front and center hyping the matchup. The Vrabel Belicheat connection and how Bill outschemed Sean in 2018.

It’s possibly one set up to promote the Suberbowl matchup

Let's hope your theory is not correct. If they are leaning into the "entertainment" designation of the NFL (like WWE), we're going to definitely get Murray vs Mahomes/Jackson in the SB. Fact.

I mentioned this in another thread but now that the NFL has done a total 180 in regards to gambling on their product they damn well better get their act together in regards to officiating. If they are going to sponsor sites like DraftKings and the like you can’t have shitty officiating like this.

I’ll add that nothing will likely happen until a blown call costs people a bunch of money. With bookies taking bets it didn’t happen but with all these gambling sites now available and it being available and open to more people I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lawsuit over a blown call one day.

I truly hope we get a rematch in the SB (for obvious reasons) but I think we can take these guys without 2 terrible decisions and the refs on the payroll. Those calls can't and wouldn't happen in a SB. For the most part, our defense man handled them.

I asked someone at work when will we have full time officials.

He said never.

I just don't understand it.

Baseball - full time with an off-season
Basketball - full time with an off-season
Hockey - full time with an off-season

Football - part time with an off-season

There is absolutely no reason why they can't go full-time for All officials

But my theory is that the league is not dont selling the Rams to the LA fan base. They want the Rams in the big game

1. Jalen Ramseys "taunting call" after his INT. He gets up and accidently runs into a guy - even tries to help him up for a sec... and they called that taunting?

Watching the replay Ramsey was actually thrown to the ground by the receiver when out of bounds and well and truly after the play was called dead. Could have been called late hit.

2. Dante Deayon gets called for a.... "Facemask?" lol... after the play was over.... Two guys were jawing at each other and deayon grabbed his mask. It should have been a no call or double penalty.... these clowns called it a "Facemask"... never heard that before.

Did they show a replay of the incident? 15 yards? Very bad call.

Just in case you guys wanted to see the utter bull shit call again. Being called the worst roughing the passer call of all time.

That is laughable... :woozy2:

There was no call on AJ Brown kicking out at Deayon after the play was over at the end of the second - which lead to the taunting offset fouls on the next play .. :woozy2:

It's also the non-calls - especially on our D for holding. Some Officials just seem to turn a blind eye. We are going to get incompetent officiating from time to time. I just feel sometimes officials look harder for infringements by one team than they do another - not even sure they realise they're doing it.

We need to focus on what we can control ..

.. interceptions. = 14 points to Tits
.. Tannehill strolling in on 4th down - D needs to read that better - Reeder went the wrong way - IMO Von Miller does not allow that through as a TD.
.. Incompetent Special Teams play - not pinning the Tits on the 1 yard line early in the game
.. Improving our red zone play calling - ignoring the run.
.. Higbee makes sure he stays in bounds for that TD. (Great play by Stafford)

It didn't help that we spotted them 14 points with some really crappy decisions.

But in the end, it was the crap officiating that cost us this game IMO.

Higbee looked in to me. I was astonished they over turned that call. If it is debatable, the call stands. Period.

The Roughing the passer call is symbolic of why we lost that game. And it wasn't spotting them the 14 points.

Even after that The Rams got a first down late & the ref came in & held the play up so they couldn’t run it & finally backed up.
That was after the Al Michaels going what is going on here when the had a referee and he said I’d like to know what was going on can we get at least a microphone on them.

Also DD21 personal foul call the WR had his face mask first & longer.DD21 is so small he had to hold on.
Then he made a play in the end zone & a WR was taunting him. He told the ref & then went back to the player & he did it again.
It got so bad DD21 was in on another one & Jalen RAMsey had had enough & got off Setting penalties

Some serious whining in this thread. It's like people complaining the $20 whore gave a shit blow job
I'll take your word for it because I wouldn't know. If you don't like it go elsewhere!

The full time/part time designation is way over rated.
Every sport has an off season where the refs/umpires can and do have other jobs.

The refs were no worse than McVay folks!!!

9ers coming up...let's hope he learned something. If he does, the loss was worth it.
Has he learned anything the previous 10 or so games just like this. NO! Like my dad used to say to me. How many times do I have to tell you? In my head I would say " about 15 or 20". But I digress.

This pretty much sums it up. I love McVay and he's going to win a super bowl eventually. Probably more than one. But he definitely has those things that he's going to have to luck into a workaround, because he's not fixing it himself.

I'm not trying to shit on the guy. It's the best football we've had since the GSOT and I'm damn thankful I can be happy after most of the games and we'll into January most years. I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

I think the Seahawks from the Seahawk/Steelers SB would beg to differ. Normally in the SB they don't call anything unless its a huge running play that could have changed the game. See Gurley. I mean come on, the Refs are bad in every game. I see it as exactly what the league wants so that they can affect out comes and the masses are use to it. Just like lying all the time so nobody cares any more.
