What I don't understand, New York is on these refs headsets, and often they will correct a call where there shouldn't be one. I've heard multiple announcers talk about this during games when the refs often reverse a call. What I don't understand, is Sunday night there is only one game and NY has ALL their eyes on the SNF game. So why not correct these officials when they start making bad calls? I mean really, we have all the technology in the world to correct things so games don't get out of hand or start tilting in one direction. I'm not saying that NY should be involved in every call but in ones that could directly effect the outcome of a game NY has been known to step in, I'm just wondering why in this game they did not.
I'm also wondering why they do not call holding against AD. There almost holding on him on EVERY SINGLE PLAY. and crickets!!! Is McVay and the FO stepping up and flagging the NFL officiating office? Would it be beneficial for mcvay (even if he gets fined) to call out the refs after the game so the league starts taking notice of this?
I'm in no way saying that the outcome of the game would have changed if those calls were no calls. But I have to think that the NFL has to know that the biggest game of the week shouldn't have refs officiating a game that are flag happy. No one wants to watch a game like that. It's ugly, boring, and downright momentum killers for a team that was struggling all night to begin with. I hope McVay addresses it this week with the league and he lets the media know about it. Because at this point with all the tools the league has it's unacceptable to giving games away.
