Lets talk about those officials last night

What I don't understand, New York is on these refs headsets, and often they will correct a call where there shouldn't be one. I've heard multiple announcers talk about this during games when the refs often reverse a call. What I don't understand, is Sunday night there is only one game and NY has ALL their eyes on the SNF game. So why not correct these officials when they start making bad calls? I mean really, we have all the technology in the world to correct things so games don't get out of hand or start tilting in one direction. I'm not saying that NY should be involved in every call but in ones that could directly effect the outcome of a game NY has been known to step in, I'm just wondering why in this game they did not.
I'm also wondering why they do not call holding against AD. There almost holding on him on EVERY SINGLE PLAY. and crickets!!! Is McVay and the FO stepping up and flagging the NFL officiating office? Would it be beneficial for mcvay (even if he gets fined) to call out the refs after the game so the league starts taking notice of this?

I'm in no way saying that the outcome of the game would have changed if those calls were no calls. But I have to think that the NFL has to know that the biggest game of the week shouldn't have refs officiating a game that are flag happy. No one wants to watch a game like that. It's ugly, boring, and downright momentum killers for a team that was struggling all night to begin with. I hope McVay addresses it this week with the league and he lets the media know about it. Because at this point with all the tools the league has it's unacceptable to giving games away.

Just in case you guys wanted to see the utter bull shit call again. Being called the worst roughing the passer call of all time.

yup... AD lunges for the QB while the QB still has the ball...
WTH, is he supposed to stop mid-air and change direction..... BS call....

I noticed quite a few bad spots, nothing game changing but giving the Titans a yard here or there and spotting the ball for us a yard or half yard short of where it should have been. One was a sack of Tanneyhill where they gave him forward progress over a yard of where it should have been.

I sometimes wonder if it is just my fan-goggles that interpret poor officiating. This is when I go to NFL subreddit to get unbiased opinions from other fanbases. Verdict is in. THESE REFS SUCKED.

Calls in this game reminded me of the Michigan-Michigan State football game this year albeit that game was a lot closer

The Donald call was the most obviously absurd foul call I think I've ever seen. Nothing there...at all.

Apropos of nothing, I was still bitching about that call to the TV when Oko ploughed Tannehill and without skipping a beat I'm like, "Now THATS roughing the passer..."

Sorta wonder if the D was fed up at that point… “oh, so we’re doing ticky tack and only on us? Cool cool. Well. We’ll make the next one obvious so the QB can actually take punishment if you’re gonna call it”

The refs were no worse than McVay folks!!!

9ers coming up...let's hope he learned something. If he does, the loss was worth it.
That's what I say, we did lose a game towards home field and division but if it prepares McStaff better when a team throws this defense at us during the post season it well worth it

Not to mention, our only embarrassing meltdowns have been at SoFi, so..... meh.

Point shaving.
Ever since the refs started doing the owners some favors, there's no going back or holding them accountable.

It's like the Roman Empire. The Praetorian Guards job was to protect the Emperor... until they learned they could choose who the Emperor was or wasn't...

I just dont get it. I would have understood if the initial call was OB and the replay would uphold for inconclusive. How they can OVERTURN a call with such contradictory views is just mind blowing.

Couldn’t agree more. Was upset because that changes the game as well.

It didn't help that we spotted them 14 points with some really crappy decisions.

But in the end, it was the crap officiating that cost us this game IMO.

Higbee looked in to me. I was astonished they over turned that call. If it is debatable, the call stands. Period.

The Roughing the passer call is symbolic of why we lost that game. And it wasn't spotting them the 14 points.
