I hope the Ravens somehow overlook us as a threat or they just play badly. Being it’s a Monday night game, I doubt that happens. A guy can dream though. We are going to see how we react with our backs against the wall once more. All or nothing here. Sick ‘Em Donald!

Catching them at a good time. They are on a roll, might be overconfident, relaxed.

Hopefully the nice warm weather kind of distracts them, like they are on vacation and the Rans can smack them in the mouth.

Will be interesting to see how the Rams react to being a home dog for the first time in years.

They should just say screw it and let Goff open it up, with of course a strong dose of Gurley.

Not saying you throw it 45 times, but screw the WR screens on 3rd and 10... Give it a shot down field. If it gets picked or you get sacked, so be it. You have to be aggressive because they need to score at least 24 this week.... And use play action on earlier downs as well.

A lot of people don’t understand who Lamar Jackson is. You can’t simply put a spy on this guy and stop him. This isn’t Russell Wilson. We are witnessing the most athletic and dominant duel threat QB in NFL history.

Every team in the league has tried using a QB spy on Jackson. The end result is they are either too slow to match his speed or too soft to match his physicality.

The way you slow down Lamar is with turnovers. He is going to get chunk plays on you but go for the ball and it might not matter. He has a tendency to not secure the ball as he runs and you can probably trick him into a pick or two by mixing your coverages.

Priority #1: Gotta have Goff protect the football this game or it’s going to get ugly.

Have to take away something from Jackson... if you let him run and pass were not stoping them.

Have to try to make him do one or the other.

The Ravens aren't unbeatable, although unfortunately they appear to be playing at their peak right now.

They lost to Kansas City & Cleveland earlier in the season, they had blow out wins against Miami & Houston. They beat up Cincinnati pretty bad in one game and barely got around them in another. They handily beat Seattle & New England, but had very close games against Arizona & Pittsburgh. They are currently on a roll with 6 straight victories, the last 4 by wide margins, but they may also be looking forward to the game following ours against the 49'ers. No doubt they will be coming in confident, but as I mentioned earlier, this could become a trap game for them if they arrive over-confident.
We play our 'A' game, ... we win. jmo.

Well I agree hes an awesome QB. But the only thing is better than vs Wilson is hes faster and bigger. Wilson makes throws Jackson dreams he can make. Either way hes a great QB let's just hope we are on the monday because we need to bring it.

I think you play zone against Lamar, slow rush and Mathews/SJD please stay in your lane. I still expect them to zone spy on Jackson on 3rd downs. I think that guy has to be Christian or Littleton. I dont like putting Christian on one of those big TEs. I like rapp in coverage hes been great against bigger dudes. That guy is such a solid pick up. Hes had his ups and downs but really good for a rookie.

I'd just put one of my best tacklers on Jackson.

Ramsey I'd almost put him on Andrew's. Hill and long can man up, if they struggle switch it up

Have to take away the run and shut down his TE.

If the O can sustain drives and finish with TDs @bubbaramfan and I will make it hard for the ravens O to hear anything but screaming Rams fans. We might not be close to the field, but trust me we will be heard on the field.

True.
He always would bite and give up big plays when with the Rams.
I have little doubt Peters will get a pick six.
Seems like every player we trade or let go comes back to bite us in the ass.

I think beating the Ravens will set the Rams up to running the table. They faced a pretty good d-front in the Bears and handled them. The key will again be running the ball to control the clock and keep the Raven's offense on the sideline. I'd feel better if they had Cooks and Woods, because you know Kupp will draw double coverage. Reynolds and Everett need to have big games. IMO the X factor in the passing game will be if they use Webster. He's not as fast as Cooks but he's got good speed and acceleration and good hands. He's also agile enough to get YAC.

Defensively, you know that Wade is going to be forced to play a lot of zone, but that actually plays to the skill set of Littleton, Rapp and Hill. If they can contain Jackson and keep him from running I think the Rams might actually match up well. Like I said if the Rams had Cooks and Woods I think they clearly would win this matchup.

Hill continues to be the weak link in the secondary. But Christian has been playing lights out ball, something I did not expect. As much as I like Weddle he's been outplayed by both Rapp and Christian. I would sit Weddle and go with David Long who played well in limited snaps against the Bears.

IMO the key to stopping Jackson will be the play of the front 7. Pressure and contain will be the key. Don't let Lamar's scrabbling beat you and the Raven offense can be stopped. No turnovers or key mistakes on offense and their defense can be beaten as well.

The Ravens pose the biggest hurdle remaining on the schedule IMO. Beat them and I can see the Rams running the table. The O-line needs to come up big again. I think they can. For the first time in weeks I feel good about the o-line.
