Awesome!!! Imo Floyd is a key to keeping open their championship window with AD and Ramsay. The D would not have been the same without him.

Aggressive signing, and no doubt they pushed the cap hit into future years as much as possible to do so, but the Rams clearly understand that their future is now.

I am not too stoked on this. But I'll wait to see the details.

The alternative was to not resign Floyd and sign a F/A more affordable JAG and then hope a 2nd or 3 round edge draft pick panned out.

The other edge rushers currently on the roster are merely rotational players. Floyd was a true starting NFL edge.

This is a great signing imo even if the dollar amount looks to be a tick higher than some valued him.

Is this true though?

Player A: 55 tackles, 11 TFL, 19 QB hits, 10.5 sacks
Player B: 58 tackles, 16 TFL, 16 QB hits, 11.5 sacks

I think it's pretty obvious who they are and what I am getting at, but I really do believe another EDGE could do just that. I need to see the actual details, but surface level, it's an overpay to me.
