Well, no it didn’t. Rams had the #2 pick overall thanks to their 2-7 season.Yeah, but if you remember, that trade got us the #2 pick in the draft. We drafted some no name RB named Eric Dickerson so we won that trade by far. Wendell Tyler had fumble-itis, Dickerson HOF!!!!
Imagine Barron Bowman and Ogletree all out there on the field. I think wade could dominate with those 3 creatively. Barron and Ogletree have shown pass rush capability. It would be cool to see but ultimately too much $$$ paying three ? players like they’re superstars. Risky unless they got rid of Barron, who they did not pay to play in their current system.
My apologies, could have sworn we traded Tyler for the #2 pick because Walsh really liked him......in the 2nd round we drafted another could be HOF'er in Henry Ellard and also drafted a stud, mainstay LB before injury in Mike Wilcher. Either way, we win the trade. Tyler was a solid pro RB, fast, elusive but i'd say that either Ellard or Wilcher better served the Rams.Well, no it didn’t. I think they got a 2nd rounder for Tyler.
My boy Ray Ray has earned his chance
It's a cool concept. Switch back to more of a 4-3 with Bowman in the middle and Tree and Barron as OLB's.
They'll be OK. They have Ray Ray. :rolllaugh:
Ellard was the Rams #2 pick. Wilcher from the trade. Hard to say we won the trade, 49ers won the SB the next year after going 3-6 with Tyler rushing for 1200My apologies, could have sworn we traded Tyler for the #2 pick because Walsh really liked him......in the 2nd round we drafted another could be HOF'er in Henry Ellard and also drafted a stud, mainstay LB before injury in Mike Wilcher. No way tree can play olb in the 3-4 sets, seems like they have figured out how to contain the outside rush and I wouldn't make any changesI’m moving Ogletree to OLB to replace Quinn or Barwin. Take your pick.
Love the dude, and I hope he finds success elsewhere and continues to recover from the achilles injury, which is only a year past tearing.
ahhhhh, thisWow, I wonder what on Earth happened with him and the 49ers..........hmmmmm.
