The best way to answer this suit would be to kick the crap out of them on Sept. 15'th.

Please tell the PA to pipe in "Blow the Whistle" by Too $hort when the Saints take the field.

Once the saints were out of our division and they got Breeze, I found myself rooting for them when it didn't affect the Rams. Never again. What a bunch of whiny fucking babies. Then I hear some ESPN chick on Saturday radio say everybody knows the saints should have been in the SB. I hope this type of shit continues all season and the Rams hear it all season. You know, just a little more motivation. Hit a little harder work a little harder. Fuck the Saints and everybody that minimizes how unbelievably hard it was to fight thru that environment down there. To fight thru all the blown calls and persevere in the end. There will be no hang over this year. Go Rams!

It appears a group of Saints super fans have brought this suit. They filed it in state court after a different suit on the same subject was thrown out of federal court. They are keeping the damages they are after low so they can keep it at the state level. It will be appealed to the next level. The just of it being they got their feelings hurt by the loss and were robbed of their rightful Super Bowl appearance. Holy bat crap batman these guys are asshats. I stubbed my toe this morning who the hell can I sue. :banghead:

Here's the thing about ESPN, they Fucking suck .

After nfl live ruined my superbowl build up by incessantly showing replays of the non dpi call and kept talking about it I vowed never to watch it again. The only time they mentioned the rams was about that call, that's it. I thought after the first week they would get it out of their system and start actually talking about the rams. Week leading up to the superbowl, They're still harping on about. So for both weeks leading up to the superbowl, the time you should be soaking in all the media attention, I was fast forwarding through the whole show. Fuckwits.

Haven't watched ESPN since the game. I feel better for it.

If the option is available, the NFL should seek a continuance in a change of venue based on conflict of interest and requests to subpoena materials from headquarters located in NY.

The superfan may have a more difficult time persuading a NY court to subpoena the NFL in order to demonstrate how a game can be attributed to losses of $75,000 that will supposedly be righted by finding empirical evidence through NFL records. Wondering how similar lawsuits have worked out when folks suffered big losses in the stock markets based on typical everyday ebbs and flows from the opening to closing bell. Similar to a football game, some calls go your team's way and some don't. Not sure that should be a case heard in court due to creation of a precedence.

The guy also said how real end goal is to get information, not money. He wants to interview Goodell, the refs, find out if the refs were punished it what the grades were, etc. It's a noble goal. Honestly the NFL's statements about grades before have made it seem like the only negative points on a ref's grade are from overturned calls. Finding out definitely that the refs aren't graded poorly for calling a shit game would be interesting to say the least, possibly pressing to better referee performance at best.

The timing once again is inappropriate. Yeah yeah, everyone wants a story to harp on. Ok the hit was aggressive but it was necessary at that particular moment in time. No one was harmed physically. But egos were morally destroyed. Big wow... Get over it...

Weren't there holds against AD as well?
Haven’t seen those yet but I’ve seen a few other obvious ones against others so far. Including some PI against the Saints which was 100x more egregious than those Steeler PI’s versus them at home.

On the play in question, looks like a fist full of mask too! Looks like they have a good hold on Brockers too:

That should be the defence for the nfl.

"Your honor, this video shows a facemask to Aaron Donald on the play in question. The ruling on the field should have been offsetting penalties and to replay the down."

Judge - "case dismissed".

I think that everyone who goes to the game in the coliseum to see the Saints game should bring whistles and blow the shit out of them. I know this stadium won't be as loud, but it could still be disruptive. Maybe make such a big deal out of it the league would start to enforce the shit in the superdome. Anyway it would be a cool get back and maybe disrupt enough to make it almost as tough on their offense to make a difference. Also show Saints head coach every once in a while with a baby crying over the sound system.

Lawsuit is ridiculous. That said I hate to say it that was a bang bang play. The problem was that second camera angle from a low angle and outside the playing field.

The lens and angle exaggerate the look. The first look high angle down the sideline reflects a bang bang play. The receiver didn't even argue.

The problem is Joyner didn't have his body facing the QB it just looked like and rightly so he was desperately trying to catch up.
