If the rush cannot get to him he will go surgical on the D. Really hoping Verse and Fiske can get into his headspace.
Got to get to him, and get him down. I've seen lesser QB's break tackles against the Rams lately, cant afford that with dare I say the best at it (Breaking tackles that is)

As long as its used smartly
Rams just need to play to their capabilities and avoid penalties and turnovers.
That's it ...... and we'll be on to the the NFCCG.
This officiating team throws the 2nd most number of flags per game, at an average of nearly 18 times per game.
Need the refs to let them play a little and not call ticky-tack penalties at this point of the season.

Not gonna lie, I am worried about Caleb against this D
It's definitely a concern...but the Rams front ain't the Packers front...THEY'RE BETTER. The goal is to keep the Bears offense between the 20's.

Here in Chicago, I think these Bear fans are in "fantasy land". They think the cold tomorrow is gonna give him a win...DON'T BANK ON IT. There's a reason the Rams are favored by 3.5 ...they're very good.

Now we know the Rams are yet to play to their standard in about 5 games...TOMORROW MAY VERY WELL BE THAT DAY...and it's highly likely from my viewpoint.

Speaking of Tutu does anyone think he'll be back next year? I don't think so. 6 catches. 1.67 million bucks per catch.
But that 88-yarder against Indy to win the game might be worth $10M all on it's own. I don't think he'll be back. They seem to like Mumpfield based on the number of snaps he is getting, and even X19.

Thinking about the footballs. Apparently they are not allowed to be warmed up, but they do go inside at half time to get warmed to room temp. Therefore, the balls might be more pliable and have more air pressure earlier in the halves, making them more suitable for the passing game? Come out and attack though the air on the first series.

Also, as they get harder and lose pressure during the play, kickoffs might get more squirrely too. We might see some really "dirty balls" there.

A lot of media crapping on the Rams secondary....and rightfully so given their performance over the last 6 weeks of the regular season....13 TD passes allowed after allowing 13 over the first 11 weeks. However, after allowing 3 TDs to Bryce Young in week 13, they only gave up 1 last week and they picked him off once. I think they're going to play a much better game than they have been, lately. Colin Cowherd likes to say, Caleb Williams just doesn't throw interceptions, which is true. 7 all season and never 2 in a game.....until last week vs Green Bay. Of course they won that game but when the Rams pick off at least 1 pass (16 in 11 games), they are 10-1.

I know you know the defensive pass rush and the secondary works together. The Rams DLine hasn't gotten a ton of pressure either. They definitely brought it on that last drive the Panthers had. CB is one of the toughest positions out there to play and you can't expect them to hold up more than 4-5 seconds.

What the Rams do have is CBs that can tackle in Forbes and Durant. McCreary seem to be the nickel guy and he also tackles well. The hope is that "BOTH WORK WELL TOGETHER TOMORROW".

Caleb can scramble and extend plays, but he'll also throw a pick or two. What Colin said isn't true...the Pack picked him off twice in that last game.

I'm with you though because both Moore and Loveland are guys that Caleb has confidence in. My thinking is that we'll see Lake helping out with Loveland in particular.

I'll be really watching to see how Shula has the secondary deploy, because I think Johnson could very well have Caleb come out throwing to try and surprise the Rams.

Yeah probably gonna be a lot of Lake on Loveland. And I think Lake will handle that well.

The matchup issues will be outside the hash vs our corners. Rush needs to help them out because they're gonna be under the gun.
