Anyone got a read on Quessenberry? No clue how he's done this TC
Quessenberry versus McClendon is an interesting battle. I thought McClendon was squarely in the lead because he, along with Humphries, sat for preseason game 1. But then he played in game 2.

Usually it's the other way around where they play game 1 and sit for future games when the coaches have seen enough. Like Josiah Stewart.

Quessenberry started at RT game 1 and LT game 2. He's done well both games IMO.

Are there going to be any actual cuts on the ‘LA Rams 2025 cut thread’?
So you're saying that David Olajiga, Anthony Torres and Mario Williams weren't actually cut?
Somebody better call them up because they'll be really happy to know that. :)
And here's your playbook back.

Seems like we're loaded at Guard/Center.
Very strong starters and excellent young depth.

As long as we could keep our tackles healthy will be good but really glad to have Humphreys and Quisenberry there to back up.
Looks like KT Levinson is a good developmental tackle.

Knowing McVay's preference for vets, my guess is:
A. Jackson (assuming OK)
Avila
Shelton
Dotson
Havenstein
Humpfries
Limmer
Dedich
McClendon
Quessenberry (assuming more worry re OT than IOL)

That leaves for PS:
Leviston
Lampkin (IR4?)
Bowles
Dooley
Arcuri
Wedig

That’s probably what I would call right now, too. What makes it interesting is if AJ can’t go, making room for another player.
I think it would come down to Acuri vs Leveston.

In that case, it's Leveston. I'm sorry, but Arcuri is not an NFL starting tackle. He was one of the worst tackles I think I've ever seen in that Detroit game.

Yes, he was atrocious and has been on more than one occasion. This is a new season and I have liked what I have seen so far.
I also feel Leveston is less likely to get poached because he redshirted last year.

Ultimately, I’m with you, I think Leveston has a bright future on this team and I would not hesitate to lose Acuri if it meant saving Leveston.

I thought Acuri was toast after watching him play but the coaches have stuck with him for 3 years now and he's finally developing out.
It seems players always develop at different rates

I noticed that the PFF rankings for the preseason have Acuri listed as a Guard.
I wonder where they giving him grades as a guard or tackle or combined.
Did he only play tackle in the preseason. I don't know the answer to these questions. :)
But it makes me wonder.

He was the one guy I correctly mocked to the Rams alot last year

Willian’s came after my post. The others were injured at the start of camp, so they aren’t in consideration for the roster.:zany1:

Plus it ruins my Jurassic Park reference.

It's all good man, just having fun. :)

When they cut Olajiga, I didn't figure it deserved its own thread so I just started a cut thread for August 27th and somebody slapped "Official" on it.

FWIW IMO, Justin Dedich has outplayed Beaux Limmer during preseason IMHO. Dedich is not as big at 6'2 300lbs vs 6'5 315lbs, however, Dedich has been better and is superior in pass protection IMHO. If it came down to those two, I would keep Dedich over Limmer although I believe they will keep both and I also believe some will think I am nuts.
Duuuuuuuuuuuudddde. Ease up on the Sangria!

Is it October already?
I need to stop drinking because I swear I thought it was August.
Octoberfest generally comes out in August for a few months. I love the end of summer... my busy season at work ends, football starts back up, Octoberfest hits the shelves, I can get a pumpkin spice latte when I want, and it starts to get cool outside. The most magical time of year.

C'mon... have you test driven the new Acuri? The 2025 version is vastly superior to last years....
