Yikes I don't like the look of that! Why don't they use a bigger tarp and stretch it over all the turf?

All indications are the rain is going to be subsiding within the hour, tho it sure was raining hard here in Anaheim just a minute ago, plenty of time to get the field ready, not so sure the Cowboys sideline isn't going to be a mess!:sneaky:

I'm down in the South Bay.... it rained from about midnight until 9am off and on....some really heavy showers in their.... it stopped about 930 here....Sun came out..... Really dark clouds to the North so I'm assuming it was raining that way after 9:30...

how I would gauge it is how accurate the forecast is in terms of time..... leading up to last night the forecast said that rain would come around midnight and it literally came at midnight..... so I'm assuming the timeline they have is accurate which would mean that the forecast for the rain to be mostly dissipated by 2pm is accurate, and that it should be clear for the game.... temps at around 50...with a chance of some sporadic rain.....

i'm bringing a poncho just in case...

One thig for certain, the turf will be the same for both teams. Yes we have the outside speed advantage so if the field is a mud bowl it may have more impact on our passing game, that said it doesn't have to be a disadvantage. Maybe Zeke coughs up a slick rock

Another playoff game, another crappy set of turf conditions in the Coliseum. Longer spikes plz. Let's not wait until halftime.

Well not panicking but if it's going to be a mud bowl the Rams might do well with the Bud Grant strategy... pass early before the field gets sloppy, take the lead, and then run the ball as the field turns into a quagmire.

The full playing surface is covered. The uncovered part in the video is the sidelines!

Familiarity is another Rams advantage as they know exactly what that home field will be like!

Been saying it... younger players that rely on quicks struggle on sloppy fields. Our veteran team will better understand this field and we should have less slips.

Seems the key is going to be keeping our feet.

Yeah I got ya, I just think it would be better to have the entire thing covered cause seems to me like with all that moister on the sidelines it just sinks under the tarp, but maybe not

I know some people are concerned field conditions might not favor the Rams if it isn't optimal. But I would disagree. The Cowboys play on turf. How many times has their turf been slippery? I think it might affect them more. The only concern I would have is if it was windy and rainy. I don't think that will be problem tonight.
