some of you may remember Robert Kraft doing this back in the early 90's. Bought a huge chunk of land in Connecticut and was talking of moving the Patriots there. Now this was around the same time the Rams were talking of moving from LA. Some rumors were flying around that CT might be an option for the Rams, that is until Robert Kraft announced he had a "hand shake deal" with the Governor Lowell Weicher to build a stadium and move the Pats to CT. Next thing you know, the Rams announce the move to STL, and Kraft lands yet another deal with Mass to build a new stadium in Foxboro and Connecticut was left holding the bag
