They incorporated some time back 2009 and the ownership is not public record so dunno ,but in the end to say Stan bought that property is not known

At first I was like meh, but upon thinking about this is to be taken seriously if you want the Rams to stay in STL. I still believe they'll stay, however the option of moving is still very real.
Or he could just use it to finally build that big ass WalMart.

Interesting....I have thought about what I would do if the Rams moved back to LA. I would still be a fan, but would probably pick up an east coast favorite team also. Just not sure who that would be right now.

The land is between the newly renovated Forum, and Hollywood Park, which is for horse racing. It's a prime spot for the Rams if they were to move, or for a bluff, this is not a BS purchase in the desert somewhere.

I'm still hoping they move to London, Stan already owns a stadium there, would be nice to have two of his teams under the same roof.

To be honest... that is a perfect spot for a stadium. I mean I'd like for the Rams to stay in STL... but moving back to L.A would be great for the franchise in my opinion. We'll see where all of this goes, but for now the Rams are in STL and I don't see anything changing until further information tells us otherwise.

People forget; Stan is a Missouri man. He's ridiculously wealthy. While I'm sure he's actively working to build the value of the Rams, he doesn't need the Rams or LA to be rich.
That's what makes him a very different owner than some. It's a VERY good bet he values his Missouri roots and his word to keep them in STL.
So, for me; yawn.

Hollywood park is getting knocked down too I think. Its no longer active for horse racing.

That's how I see it and the Chrysler plant is like 5 times the size so the development revenue would be huge ,this LA sight would be sorta land locked with very limited development potential .
Sports is Stans second line of business development is his first ,after all's said and done I'm not sure he wouldn't make more money in Fenton AND once again be able to take in his favorite college team and his pro team on the same weekend without getting on a plane/leaving the state.
But we've been through all this many times before.

What I love about the Chrysler Plant is its accessibility. It's right off 44 and and don't have to navigate through slow moving traffic.

This looks fairly straightforward to me.
Kroenke isn't going to get dragged into a year to year rental of the current dome with no movement by StL.
If StL gets going on building something they keep the Rams, otherwise they risk losing them.
The way I see it StL people who want to keep the Rams should be just as upset with the city for dragging its feet as they are with Kroenke.

Okay, let's just say the EJD is outdated to some degree but for a good 10 years and with the Rams re-introducing the NFL to St. Louis I've never understood why they never got a Super Bowl. I'm not sure what it indicates but it shows something. I think Indianapolis has hosted 2 Super Bowls since the Rams moved to St. Louis so region isn't it, is it?

some of you may remember Robert Kraft doing this back in the early 90's. Bought a huge chunk of land in Connecticut and was talking of moving the Patriots there. Now this was around the same time the Rams were talking of moving from LA. Some rumors were flying around that CT might be an option for the Rams, that is until Robert Kraft announced he had a "hand shake deal" with the Governor Lowell Weicher to build a stadium and move the Pats to CT. Next thing you know, the Rams announce the move to STL, and Kraft lands yet another deal with Mass to build a new stadium in Foxboro and Connecticut was left holding the bag

I think there are many who have acknowledged that it's leverage. Leverage to what end is the question. The endgame isn't always evident or predictable. The Rams and John Shaw were all set to move to Baltimore before that got all gummed up. St. Louis got jilted by the NFL and lost out on an expansion team and then WAY overpaid for the Rams. Just like then, this situation will remain fluid and we'll all have wild guesses, hopes and predictions along the way.
