Here's hoping that practicing against Nate 'Peanut Punch' Landman Will
Help Kyren to greatly improve ball security.
And we get a solid addition to maybe the worst ILB
corp in years. Way too much potential and talent
for that to happen again especially with big beef covering
the LOS

* With OT and and Stafford's back both maybe questionable, Pass Pro becomes an overriding consideration at RB.

Prior to the signing, I was of the opinion that he would have to hold out. Or, worse, hold in by being less available and less willing to use his body on pass pro.

So, I think we had to extend him. It's a team friendly deal.

Compliments to the front office.

Yeah - I talked to a couple Ram Fans today. Not everyone se’s eye to eye.I know I’m very opinionated, but I don’t get some of it.

I saw Shaun Dolac today as an example, and also Pooh Jones at LBer.I’m cheering for them hoping to see good things.I can get deeper, but won’t.

I saw the young CB’s & all the rest.By far Ahkello is the least picked on.

All the info & I got a lot today.Troy Reeder & Darious Williams are both Ram Super Bowl Champs & no PLAYER on Defense can say that besides them.

The DISRESPECT they get is RIDICULOUS !!! I don’t get The HATE. I got there early SO it was basically ME & another Ram Fan & then others.

I heard all the Kyren Williams about fumbling around post & YouTube. I was for ALL what happened today. I was all for Drafting a young RB in this DEEP 2025 class.Finding Hunter was nice.Blake Corum last season with Ronnie Rivers added nice depth.

Long story short (liol) talked about Kyren Williams signing. Then it was he fumbles to much. Why did they do EJ53 like that out of nowhere.

Gave my opinion (playing games & not all in). Then he said how bad Troy Reeder is.Where going to pay with Kupp gone.

Came home to how happy Kyren is to be a Ram.I call it a Win-Win

It was a good deal for Kyren as well.He wasn’t going to play that game anyways like EJ53 or Cam Akers.

My question to Fans that think like you with the holdout & it has to be that way ? Your right about less reps for Kyren Williams this season either way.RB has a lot of depth.

Quentin Lake was drafted before him as well as Colbie Durant. Why aren’t they asking for extensions
Playing games?

RB takes a lot of punishment. My point was that it would have been in KWs best interest to hold out. It doesn't matter now. All engines go!

Fair enough- solid take. I’d say The Rams played there cards right.

I agree with the fans that were pissed EJ53 was released.I was as well leaving a hole in The Rams defense with a Rookie DC.

I wasn’t happy, but Troy Reeder as a guy breakdown NFL video says #51 is a DAWG ! No matter where he is in The Rams lineup in 2025 he is going to go ALL out & only add VALUE to The Rams.

Having Kyren Williams leading the way SIGNED or UNSIGNED doesn’t matter ! In his own words is he will only work harder. That said Mcvay says Kyren there’s NO WAY you can work any harder.

Kyren is built & put together that way.He cried with his mom on the phone.Being a RAM(St.Louis) is a LIFETIME DREAM!!!

Yeah, that incident has left a bad taste in my mouth as well. And it definitely hurt the defense during the first quarter of the year, and maybe more. That said, I am excited about this seasons LB group!

It also is how Sean Mcvay (The Rams) have built this culture.

One thing Mcvay did say under his breath was working with the player.Being more involved with the person.

Maybe he learned something from the Ernest Jones trade & lack of negotiations.

The Rams keep everything in House(not our house),and there was a reason or something that sparked that trade at a position of need.

You don’t give out contracts for past performance. You give it out for future performance.
This means he’s the guy for at least three more years (this + first two years of new contract). That covers Corums time and 3/4ths of Hunter - guys we spent a 3rd & 4th on.

Now if we go with a drafted QB post Stafford, money/cap won’t be a problem. If we go with an expensive vet, it will be with the contracts due in coming years.
If he does anywhere near his numbers the last two years for the rest of his contract, he WIll take out all-time records from our greats in 5 seasons. Hes one of our better running backs we have had. We are set at RB. One less Problem.

Im more worried about our O'line than anything. Corum is prob on his way out if he doesnt do anything. HIGS, Big Rob and Staff contracts are going. Id Say if we can draft a big draftee, than keep Jimmy to mentor him, and see how things go. if not go the Win now mode and Grab Burrow with the picks.

Barry Redden from the University of Richmond. Saw him play a couple times as I’m about 10 miles away. Same place Kobie Turner started. Never had the pleasure of watching him play.
Almost was a Spider myself. Had an uncle who was a big supporter. Got a friend that works there now.. I grew up about 60 miles from there.
