That is a very best case scenario, I hope Coop can have similar results. It depends a lot on their choice of procedure too. If they go Autograph vs. Allograft he will recover much quicker. Fingers crossed

Saints fan here. Following you guys because it looks like you guys are our biggest threat this year.

This Kupp injury sucks. I really liked Cooper, and had high hopes for him this year. I think you guys still have plenty of horses in the stable (gone are the days of Britt, Austin, and Bailey), but this sucks for anyone who loves watching football (and high powered offense at that). I hope he makes a 100% rebound for next season.

Good luck moving forward.

Reynolds seems to have a knack for making the big play. Both in college and now in the NFL.

Glad he’s a seasoned vet now.

Love how he talks about running every route as if the ball is headed his way... as opposed to Sammy last year.

Yeah, regarding Sammy, that guy is the most over hyped wr out there. You notice how he is highly thought of, but his stats look like those of a average receiver? He is the Sam Bradford of wide receivers.

He really showed us something in that last stretch that Kupp was out. Offense still isn't the same without 18 in there, but I feel a lot better about it this time around than I did when we lost him earlier this year, that's for sure.

Worries me on 3rd downs. We’ve had a steady decline of converting 3rd downs. Now with Catches Kupp out, I wonder who are go to on 3rd and long is.

Kupp is young enough and important enough to take him time coming back. The Rams will surely miss him but should only want him back when he is 100% ready. As good as his TD was against the Saints, I did not see the same effortless movement from Kupp that he had before his injury. His knee was severely weaken by the sprain/strain, tried to fight through it and unfortunately it was not ready for the rigors of NFL play.

Reynolds has proven to be a good red zone target and will get an opportunity to improve his skills/ expand his contributions....but I think Everett is the guy that will fill the loss of Kupp most effectively. He is athletic, tough to bring down and a good mid- field target.

Short term losing Kupp sucks but long term it will allow the Rams to see what other weapons they have in games/situations that matter instead of meaningless preseason games or garbage time regular season.

As much as I love Kupp it could be a little bit of a blessing in disguise. I could see Reynolds being a force inside the red zone.

Dr. James Andrews performed the knee surgery on AP, and he said his cells have protoplasm unlike anything he'd ever seen before. This was the best sports surgeon who operated on all the elite athletes in the world, and he said that about AP. He's literally not from this planet so I dont think it's realistic to expect something like that from Kupp. If he comes back healthy by week 3 or 4 even I'd have no problem with that. Worst thing he can do is rush like he did and have lingering issues. I kind of want to see Reynolds to develop too, something tells me the kid can be a beast.

A few minor differences:
—AP has his injury about six weeks later in season than Kupp.
—AP tore ACL and MCL both
—significant recent advances in ACL surgery and treatment, better than it was 5 or 10 years ago.

My point is, Kupp “should” be on track to play at start of reg. season, given that he only tore the ACL and had no further damage.Nine months used to be a speedy recovery, now it’s considered a time frame to be expected.

"Stretch" is a good way to describe Reynolds. Dude has an incredible wingspan.
