Maybe and just maybe there's a hunch that Jared Goff actually sucks and Fisher realizes the mistake of giving up six draft picks for a supposedly high ceiling, raw QB prospect based on the media hype. And that he does not want to use Goff at all when he realizes there's no way he's going to let the kid play because Goff actually sucks?

Cris Carter might be onto something when he said Jared Goff is not the QB the Rams thought he's supposed to be.

After the prolong delay, I'm not too sure what to make of the QB situation.

If that's the case, all the more reason that Fisher needs to be gone.

He's barely taking any snaps since pre-season, so how would anyone be able to make that assumption?
Only way to know if a guy actually "sucks" is to see him play in REAL game competition.
Furthermore, if he "sucked" that bad, why would he then be 1 play away from playing in a game? If he was that bad then Fisher would be even more nuts to not have Mannion #2. Unless he "sucks" that bad too which would really make me question the team's ability to select QB and to coach them.

Everybody wants to see how Goff plays and they then can make an assessment on whether Goff sucks or not.

But with Fisher playing the game of Case Keenum as his QB, this will backfire on Fish and hopefully he won't be renewed at the end of the season.

After giving away the farm for a raw, high upside prospect without playing him, this is a cause for termination.

Sorry, but people calling Goff a bust before he steps on the field. Or lending credence to people who do deserve comments that would get me banned. But currently in society there is amazing lack of intelligence right now so the stupidity shouldn't shock me anymore.

Goff's not playing until we are mathematically out of playoffs IMO. Which is unfortunate.

It really doesn't make sense that he's not playing. before the season started our identity was bang the rock out on the ground and pick our passing plays/PAs wisely here and there, right now its barley bang the rock and go pass happy with Case. I can see why they wanted to stick to Case under our original identity with limited passing, but, if the game plan is now let Case sling it 40+ times a game put the damn kid in... why let Case sling it all day when we could be letting Goff do that and get a feel for the game.

I hope you don't actually believe this. To already give up on a QB before he's even seen the field would further show how incompetent this coaching staff is. It's not as if only the Rams believed in Goff at the draft. He was rated highly by plenty of teams, scouts, draft analysts, fans.

And really, if Fisher thinks Goff sucks, that wouldn't mean anything. He's a bad an offensive mind as there is in the game of football.

Funny, I thought their original offensive plan [control the clock, bang the rock] would be a great offense for a young QB to enter into, especially with our defense playing very well more often than not. Look at how Dallas has made it easier on Dak, same thing with Mariota in Tennessee, as well as Wilson when he arrived in Seattle, Kaep when he started out in SF, Big Ben in Pittsburgh, and Flacco in Baltimore. What a wasted season.

I don't believe what was tossed out there by ESPN pundits because they're saying it for ratings and discussions.

But things said out there gotta make you go Hmmmmmm....

The only thing that has me worried that goff may be a bust is that the Browns reportedly wanted him and we know they have a tip top can't miss QB scouting department (blue font )

How anyone can call goff a busy before he has even seen the field is a joke .. even Ryan leaf got a season

Maybe. Fisher has deluded himself if he keeps playing Keemun and telling everyone Case isn't the problem.. Case played well .. the into arent in case.. lack of offensive production isn't on Case ... he can recoup that 1st round draft pick ...and be labelled a genius

Who knows man, I think, I repeat I THINK, they were thinking if the plan was less throws Case could handle the job this year and let Goff sit the year while he learns the system, but since he's slinging the ball 40+ times a game now I have no idea what they're thinking now lol. My opinion has always been to start Goff personally and let him learn but Fisher took the conservative approach.
