It's a weird situation for some of us rams fans.

I (just speaking for myself) respect and appreciate the protest aspect of it. It doesn't affect me, but I respect somebody taking a stand (or in this case, a knee).

But, I hate him for the niner stench. I hated his smug face when he played against us.

But I do feel he has been been treated unfairly, and there are definitely worse quarterbacks making cash in the league right now.

But, when he was with the niners I always thought he was over-rated. He may be better than some of the players out there, he certainly wasn't as good as the media told us he was.

So, whenever I see a thread like this ... well ... I'm definitely conflicted. In principle, I kinda want to support him. But then the niner stench hits again and ...

:puke:

Agreed. Pretty much the same definition of Nick Foles

IMO Foles is a better QB. He's streaky as hell, but overall IMO he is better.

I think when we look at the starters in the NFL CK is probably better than a dozen for sure.

I think the fact that Blaine Gabbert is starting for his 4th team in 6 years and is getting paid a decent amount (2 mill) should be enough of a case for Kaep. Lol

He feasted off one of the best defenses in the NFL along with one of the best Oline/Run game in the NFL and still couldn’t win a Super Bowl.

Then when he had to carry the team a little when his Oline got nicked he was really horrible.

After multiple chances was finally benched for his play. Then he took a
knee.

And technically, didn't he opt out of his 49er contract? I get that he likely would have been cut, but the fact is that he wasn't cut, he chose to be a FA
That's what everybody seems to be conveniently leaving out. He'd already lost his starting job to another back up QB (Gabbert), before he started his protests. He then asks to be released from the team. Thinking another team is going to jump at the chance to hand the starting job to a guy, whom lost his job to Blaine Gabbert, In a Chip Kelley, QB friendly offense.

So what kind of contract is fair for a back up QB that lost his starting gig to Blane Gabbert and then decided to opt out of his contract before apparently changing his mind and then refusing an offer for better than back-up level pay? What exactly does anyone think he's looking for? Starter money? A guaranteed shot at starting for a team? Only signing as a back-up for a playoff caliber team? Is he ok with signing as a 2nd stringer? has anyone seen real numbers of what he has been offered or what range he would consider?

He's a fucking drama queen looking for a stage. Fuck him.

This. Add the fact that he hasn’t played ball in 2 years and it just wouldn’t end well.

Misguided, misunderstood, misinterpreted and mischievous....He'll be a Raider, payment for Vegas as Kaepernick went to Nevada..

.

How can anyone want this guy anywhere near the Rams? Forget his complete disrespect for the flag and the troops, he would be a complete media distraction when we are focused on a genuine Super Bowl run.

Why let the Pats or Raiders have him? We need a backup QB.
I for one, don't want to see our back up QB, plastered all over the screen all game long. I also don't want to hear announcers talk about him all damn game long. Both of which are a high probability.
I just want to watch my Rams play football, without all of the politics.

This guy has never been a Ram. He will never be a Ram. Shouldn't any threads about him move to General NFL talk?

With Jared Goff's beautiful mug and Sean McVay's youthful exuberance, you have nothing to fear. The cameras will be too focused on McBae and Goff.
