Yes. Vets signed before the start of the season have guaranteed contracts. Signed after week 1 their contracts are not guaranteed, so they can be cut if they don't work out.

Assuming he's amenable, and doesn't want a signing bonus, etc. And that he signs with the Rams and not with another team after being cut. Players often have their own goals, after all.

Because he a good pass rusher off the edge and that’s an area of our team that we could certainly strengthen.
