Rapp has zero feel. Been saying it and saying it and saying it. He's improved a bit, but is so hit and miss that it's painful. On that late TD we gave up he was running for the flat as the receiver was breaking inside. No feel. So if we remove Fuller it's going to be too much. Only way we have a win condition at that point is our DL absolutely dominating and lowering the importance of the secondary.

And as good as our DL is they can get nullified here and there by good OL play. So we need Fuller to be ok.
Him and Deayon were both covering Deebo. Looked like he expected Deayon to take Jennings. A lot of confusion on that play.

Fuller being out … just ouch.

Just shooting straight here, our bottom 3rd of the league secondary is now going to complete its full transformation to Marmieville.

We might be one and done.

I am Sorry for Fuller but next man up. That’s the NFL way. Baltimore certainly gave the Rams a run with many second stringers. Need to add quality/depth at S and ILB for next year though.

Losing Fuller hurts. Both as a player and as the defensive signal caller. You don't know what you've got til it's gone.

Both Fuller and the coaching have taken some criticism, but until Fuller went down yesterday they weren't giving up many big plays downfield. Not sure that will be the case now.

As many have pointed out this defensive secondary was already significantly weaker than last year's without JJ and Hill. It will now be really challenged. Remains to be seen if Burgess and Scott or others can step up, and if the secondary can play together with coverage that avoids big mistakes due to missed communications and breakdowns.

rapp was a 2nd round pick.

burgess was a 3rd round pick.

and burgess was like a heat seeking missile out there. he's the first ram defender i've seen take kittle down without giving up any more ground.

after seeing scott miss so many tackles i have to wonder why burgess isn't out there.

.
Yes yes. But as bad as Rapp has looked and given Burgess being a guy who as a round 3 pick you would think he'd get a hard look. So if he couldn't beat Rapp out it's hard to imagine he's got something to him.

Be a good week to get Jones back. He was calling plays in preseason.

So what is Rochelle's status? Is he expected back?

Tampa's secondary was mediocre to poor going into the playoffs last year. It's still up to Miller, AD and Floyd.

Just saw that Darious Williams is being evaluated for a shoulder injury??

coaches have their favourites.

everyone was asking why myer kept running carlos hyde instead of james robinson.

we've seen with our own eyes that burgess looks so much better than rapp out there. there's no explanation.

staley went with burgess, morris went with rapp. maybe burgess is too instinctive for him. he likes defenders to stand still until something happens.

Rams secondary is limping into the playoffs barely. The offense is going to have to figure out it's issues and perform at peak level from here on out.

Scott and Burgess will have to fill in and I'm not stoked about that. Fuller may not be the best, but he's our leading tackler and serviceable. Hope our safeties step up to the occasion
