Goff is a tough kid but we all know he has had issues with pressure in his face. Goff is a good QB who can win with solid protection. Stafford is a QB who can win no matter what is thrown at him.

The remake of Sound of Silence by Disturbed is actually better than the original IMHO.

I've heard a lot of people say that, but that's basically impossible to be true IMHO.

Nobody can do a Simon and Garfunkel Song better than Simon and Garfunkel. The newer generation (not saying you)has no respect or little respect for the greats of the 60's

I can't watch this episode of the view. Goff needs to progress as a QB. I blame his girlfriend.

Have you heard it? Paul Simon even sent a message to the singer to tell him what a good job he did. It may come down to a style preference rather than not respecting the greats.

Try to listen to this cover. I mean absolutely no disrespect to Simon and Garfunkel, but I much prefer the Disturbed (plus Myles Kennedy) version.

Yes, I've heard it. I've got no problem with people saying it's an excellent version, its different etc, I only took exception to it being labeled "better." Everything S + G do is basically a maxed out Masterpiece to me. Some one doing a cover can come CLOSE to it or do a great job but nothing can beat the original harmonies.

It's fine. I still got S + G by a substantial margin, sorry. Dont need other versions of Scarborough Fair, The Boxer or Bridge Over Troubled Water either.

Fair enough. Most of the time, I prefer original songs over covers myself.

The song by Disturbed should be better than the original... they had 40 years to make it better. Let's see them make their own hit song and then I'll be impressed. I do like it though.

Having said all that, its nowhere CLOSE to being better than the Original. LOL, as if some new act is capable of matching the 60's. How DARE anyone say ANYONE is better at a Simon + Garfunkel song than Simon AND FUCKING GARFUNKEL!!! Please....

i'mm a 55 year rams fan... i been around...

when i read the comment about disturbed, i went immediately to youtube, hit the sound of silence clik and went straight to the S&G version...listened to the whole thin because it's one of my favorite songs(and i'm not a folk fanatic.. i'm a stones fan)

then i cliked on the vid that was live disturbed on the conan show...

i actually got chills during certain parts... i'm an old musician that can really appreciate when someone covers somethin well... but i am really critical of shit covers... and most are...

thanks to whomever for the insight on this one... epic sells the cover short...

go rams

Lol at Disturbed anything. I used to fuck with them until they became cornier than deer shit.

Hard to beat S&Gs original acoustic version

Still tops in my book

That being said that’s where Brooks and I part ways, his other comments on the topic are wrong

Sooo, how about that Jared Goff? You think his team will better? A lot of Lions fans also became Rams fans because of Stafford. I think I will root for the Lions and Goff as my second team unless it conflicts with the Rams.
