You mean Jamon wasn't getting suspended from life? You mean Natson wasn't bullying him around and making Jamon carry his hemet? You mean he wasn't acting like a baby about the RG starting spot and throwing himself down on the ground kicking and screaming? Really? Now that's cool.

Still weird. Maybe a locker room issue. I know McVay wont stand for something like that. Also, McVay is too much of a class act himself to throw a guy under the bus, i wouldn't expect him to say anything negative about Brown.

Giants lucked out.

Eli must be saying his prayers because Brown has turned into a solid to sometimes dominant guard. I watch a lot of replays of Rams games carefully and Brown is a top guard in the NFL right now. Hopefully he can pickup the Giants Scheme quickly.

As with all former Rams best of luck to you Jamon thank you for your time wearing the Horns. Hope you do great except when you play against us.

What this does say is that Saffold is not going anywhere next season. They will keep him.

And really he just turned 30 this summer so he could play well for another 3 or 4 years, especially with the shape that he keeps himself in.

I was previously in the let Saffold walk camp. I am now changing sides. Count me on Team KeepSaffold.

It’s got to really suck when you wake up in the morning as Jamon and you realize as a former 8-0 RAM you are now a 1-7 NY GIANT. Gives me chills just thinking about it.

Yep, sounds good to me too. Love to see another year of Saffold and Whit playing next to each other. There is no mystery as to why Gurley gets most of his yards running to the left.

I wouldnt think so. Fowler only costs 1.5 mil, barely anything against the cap.

This was posted in another thread sorry can't remember who posted it...part of article.

https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2018/10/30/nfl-los-angeles-rams-dante-fowler-salaryc-ap-contract/
...................According to Over The Cap, Fowler carried a cap hit of $7.3 million in 2018, but only $1.926 million of that will be paid by the Rams. He’s a free agent in 2019 so there are no future ramifications, making this a very easy financial situation to break down. Los Angeles had just about $1.8 million in cap space before the move was made, which means it had to part ways with someone before adding Fowler to the 53-man roster.

The Rams did exactly that, waiving guard Jamon Brown and saving $1.7 million. When these transactions are reflected on the salary cap, the Rams will be in the green and have about $1.7 million to spend for the rest of the season.

In simple terms, the Rams basically swapped out Brown for Fowler, losing about $200,000 in the process. A very small price to pay for a guy who will be an immediate starter at outside linebacker.

I think for the rest of the year he's on team Jamon. Trying to play the best he can so he can chase that fa money. But i guess the giants can make him a rfa.
