Like any other player he's the guy till they find someone better.
He's a Ram in hopes he is much more durable option. He brought along a high draft pick and much needed salary cap relief. And to top that off he signed a team friendly extension that won't handcuff the Rams if a better option is found.
His success for the Rams is predicated on Gurley keeping another guy in the box which opens up the intermediate routes that he excels at.
When that happens we can see if he's the guy or not.
