Yeah, not sure how they can contend in 23' without retooling which means having cap room to retain their own key FAs, while also bringing in help on the Oline. More confident in that approach as opposed of crossing their fingers that some unproven OL guys can stay healthy and play well.
If releasing Wagner & Floyd, moving Ramsey for picks, and restructuring Kupp, means that they can keep Gaines, Scott, & Gay, as well as adding two quality OL, a solid TE, and drafting some speed for the defense, then that plan makes them a better team in 23' and 24'.
If they really are gonna go that route, which seems necessary to restock the pond, they need to try and re-sign ARob as well. I recently rewatched all of the post season during the SB run. I know Gaines is more versatile (every down) but ARob was an absolutely immovable force vs the run down the stretch and peaked during the SB.
