Johnson needed one block by Quinn to get the pick 6. Not meaning this as a slam because he got down there to be in position to get the block so some respect for that, but he should have blasted Wilson and if he did the Rams score! Little things like that are what win and lose games. Hopefully it is pointed out.

I looked over at my wife and said "Quinn just missed on an opportunity to put Wilson on the bench. I mean he could have hit him legally and put him on IR"

The Rams had many chances to win, but for whatever reason they did not complete the play. The only thing to do now is learn from it and get better because jax D is gonna be very similar to what they saw this game.

What do you think Michael Bennett does if that's Goff chasing down Earl Thomas?

I know, I know Goff isn't going to catch Earl.

I agree that we had a few chances to win the game and Quinn hitting Wilson was one of them.

He has been a disappointment, maybe he did not want to hit Wilson because he felt it would be a social injustice.

I think he was trying to not block him in the back and considering it was a qb the flag might've come even quicker. The Hawks played it well, wilson had the angle and the rb was in pursuit. It's tough for someone Quinn's size to block a smaller guy like Wilson. Johnson's best option probably was to keep going down the sideline and hope you get a block.

I'm gonna give Quinn credit on this because he may have felt Johnson was clear and that if he crushed Wilson, they would have flagged him
I disagree. Quinn was not thinking strategically. He was winded, and looked like a baby deer, as he staggered past Wilson. Man up, get in game shape, son. And plow over the midget. He was fair game. What would the flag have been for? It's not a penalty to block a quarterback on an int. return.

Man up? I think a lot of shade is being thrown at a guy who could have lagged behind but did put in the effort to get down field to be in position to block. Dude was the first man down there! And with QB's wearing tutu's in the open field these days, all it takes is a hand on the shoulder and they might flag him for block in the back.
Wouldnt be the first or last bogus call made against the Rams

"Man up" might be a little harsh. I know he may be playing in pain and a lot of these guys do.

Believe me, I am rooting for the Mighty Quinn to return. I haven't written him off yet. As many on this forum have.

If Cooper Kupp would have caught that last pass, we would have won....Just saw it again and he should have caught it....Many other plays should have been made and this was one of many that failed...Lots of blame to go around.

Team loss.

I thought Johnson pulled a muscle or something the way he stopped instead of trying to beat Wilson to the end zone. And, if Wilson makes a tackle he should be paying a big price for it. The guy with the ball especially a defender on the opposing QB should be delivering a blow.

Still great recovery and pick

...sometime around 2005 Bulge got leveled after a pick... Mayne Quinn needs to review that tape a few times... Mark was never the same that year...

In perfect position to pummel Wilson, without a penalty. But didn't do it. :(
