Isn't Aaron Rodgers playing? I'm figuring he is.
Ha, so am I.

Shadow of his former self and one more year older. The team was bad last year and they have to wheel the defense out of the old folks home, I see them trending down. That 10-7 was a paper tiger and in a surprising year where Bengals and Ravens took some hits.

Nah, the Steelers are NEVER Top 5 pick bad. Very rarely even Top 10. They'll be picking anywhere from 12-18 a-gain, well out of range of Top 2-3 QB's and theyre not a " "splash draft trade " type of team.

Simpson is a good speculative play for them this Draft, IF they love him of course......

We’ll see. This isn’t Tomlins Steelers anymore

Any order of Cooper/Ponds/Rodriguez I'd be down with. Could even convince me of Kyle Louis if Rodriguez is gone. Dude can lock up the RB/TE.

My only concern after that would be swing OT. I'd like to see us take the chance on OT Isaiah World with a 3rd or later pick.

When McVay publicly "invited" Kirk Cousins to call him (or whatever he said in that interview) I figured it meant that Jimmy G might not be coming back. And why would he? He doesn't make much money, he sits on the bench mostly, and he largely goes unnoticed. I don't care how talented he is... no pro athlete wants to sit on the bench (unless they know they suck-lol). My guess is that Jimmy wants to either 1) play or 2) make money. He's not getting either from the Rams and possibly no one else either. So he is sitting in limbo right now. Who knows?

He doesnt make much money?
He'd make 3-4 mill as a backup QB on the Rams, I cant see where he'd land a job off the field that will pay him more than that

I agree but he's already made around 150 million and, if he was somewhat smart, he might still be worth that much. But even Tutu made 10 million last year. Backup QB's are making anywhere from 5-10 million. I just don't think Jimmy g needs the money.

What is the best move for JG?

IF....he's seriously considering retirement, he should not sign anywhere, wait for a QB to get injured and get a nicer paycheck PLUS play.
IF....he's really not considering retirement, he should sign somewhere as a backup for the best offer.
