The point is, few NFL linebackers are strong enough to do what he does on a regular basis now. Playing against Hurts is a very different thing and extremely challenging endeavor.
The Eagles regularly made the great Aaron Donald look bad. I mean, did he ever have a good game against the Eagles ? He was a non factor in most of those games. Even Donald notes they were tough on him. Took 2-3 guys to do it. Seen 4 against him one time.
Verse has the ability and the desire to be one of the best ever. He will learn from this and so will Shula.
The Rams problem is all about the O line at this moment.
Fix that, get a true big-fast deep threat and we have another SB run in this team.

Jason Kelse recently explained that stopping AD was the primary goal of Philly's offense because he was a game wrecker. He was answering toward Iggle fans talking shyte about Donald's game. He said that they always double & triple teamed him unless the play was away from him AND that AD was the best defensive player he played against in his whole career.

I know there were at least 2 runs by Hurts after or during Verse was tackled. Their left tackle just pulled Verse to the ground several times during the game and the right tackle pulled him down a couple times. When our OL gets run over and the DL goes down, its a hold every time. But our DL continues to get the AD treatment, just because they are freaks the rules dont apply the same.
