not necessarily on my bucket list

but I always thought it would be pretty fun to ride along on one of those planes that fly into the eye of a hurricane

Most people panic on an airline when they hit a little turbulence. These guys go through the wringer every flight. BTW, Do you know why they use turboprops over Jets? Less likely for an engine failure due to rain.

My old place on Grand Cay in the Bahamas is gone. I sold it to a family (Bahamian) that was involved in my "set-up" from years ago. No one lives there or was there at the time... it's a rental now.

Karma always remembers.

I told the story here years ago soon after it happened. It was f ucked beyond belief almost. I don't remember the thread title... I think it was locked up abroad or some s hit like that... I don't really want to dig it up myself. We are all able to laugh about it now. It took my boys a few years though. They are even wanting to go back now... I don't trust myself enough not to go after a certain someone over there though, and when I say that I mean I would probably beat this guy's a ss to the point that I'd be locked up abroad again.

We are obviously still in touch with many people over there who miss us. There's even a child there who is named after my wife. We'll go back again some day... we'll see.

Karma really is a bitch. I believe in that completely.

Read your post. Damn. I'd put that fucker's name all over the web with anything related to the Bahamas. Don't understand about the house though. Were you forced to "sell" it?

A good friend of mine that happens to live about 6 minutes away went out of his house to be in the eye of Irma. It passed right over us.

And the dumbass didn't take a pic.

To give you an idea of how tricky recovery can be from a storm like this I was without power for I think 5 days, he was without power for 11 or 12. We live about 2 miles away from each other.

You should email him and let him know that you know the house is gone. Don't say anyhting OTHER than that. Just let him gnaw on it for what he did to you. Maybe attach a pic of your house tough.

I was back in Ohio, the CLE area on a trip that had been planned for a long time.

I watched closely as Monday was mu return flight.

I'm sad for the people that are about to get their lives jacked up by this, ad at the same time glad that I am home safely.

I wasn't forced to... I did it because I couldn't trust the government over there anymore. They are dying a slow death over there and have been for a long time. They are corrupt as hell.

Oh... he knows that I know. My real friends over there love to tell him that they keep me up to date on everything. Hahaha. They've already let him know that they told me about the house.

I spent almost all day trying to get my generator started. I now know everything about the engines on these f uckers. I also now own 2 generators... I could only get my old one to run on propane.... so I went out and bought a new one. LOL
