Sadiq at 13 Sadiqs hahahahaha.......Sadiq was very meh in big games. I watched him disappear there.

He's like Metcalf in that he's a big freak athlete who is going to be limited in his usage and much of his value is projection. Metcalf wasn't a fluid wideout who can run a full route tree, Sadiq in the same sense won't be able to carry an offensive throughput over the middle as a chain mover. He'll be the same type of player, where you hope for the big play while other players move the chains.

Stowers will quickly settle in for the lucky team who drafts him and become a key chain mover who can also stretch the field. Five years from now he'll be a big name in the league. Sadiq I am not so sure about. Quite risky I think, unless you want to use him as a backfield piece and maybe in a FB type role but would he be all in on that.

I think if we grab him - in an ideal world he would play the nickel/safety role that Lake is in. I guess you could move Lake back to safety full time and maybe try to move Kinchens but I'm suspicious of Lake in anything but split-safety/nickel whereas Kinchens can handle a little more single high (though he's not amazing at it).

I think keeping Downs at split-safety would be a waste of the talent and the pick.

The more I look into them, Stowers in the 2nd is far better value then Sadiq in the 1st. If we went D in the 1st, I'd be pretty happy with Stowers in the 2nd. Doubt he makes it to end of 2nd however.

Agreed he won't make it to us in round 2. People acting like Sadiq's workout makes him a top ten pick. Meanwhile Stowers was close to him in his workout and he's a better prospect in the slot pass catching role that makes the Rams offense move, and yet he's a round 2 pick.

I just don't agree with so many of the media takes this year.

That’s your opinion but it does feel a little polemic. Really? You can’t see any super positives in Simpson’s game before he was so sick he lost practically TWO STONE and had an injury that restricted his throwing motion? Watch his pro day if you don’t believe how strong his arm looks at 220

I am not trying to change your mind and understand your reasons but Simpson is a top 30 talent on most boards irrespective of being a QB

I could be completely wrong about his abilities. I can admit that I might be a tad biased against him as a QB who hasn't done anything prior to this year.

However, there is another thing that really doesn't want me to take him before the 6th round. His injury history is pretty awful. I saw a post a day or two ago that showed his injury history and I really don't want to take a chance on him.
