LaPorta is gone probably for the rest of the year I believe. A good break for us.Laporta

We seem to have more trouble with the Montgomery types. Carolina felt that way.Gotta stop Gibbs and Mongomery.
LaPorta is out due to injury.Pressure up the middle. Constant pressure. I'd stunt Verse and Young a lot. Gotta keep an eye on Gibbs, obviously, but ultimately, our corners and safeties are going to have to hold our own against St. Brown, Laporta, Williams, etc., because we're not getting through with just four/five men on that O-line.
As far as on the offense, defending against Hutchinson is the key. There's nobody in that secondary I fear, especially at corner. Pick on the weakest link, motion, do your thing.
He was the one calling plays the first time in the redzone. Just saying. Plus, it easy to call runs all game long when you got a 20 point lead.Offensive gameplan: Run run run, and keep the lions off the field and keep our defense fresh. Maybe our OC should be calling games from here on out, seems like he doesn't forget to run.
Defensive gameplan: Stop the run, and pressure Goof.
NOOOOOOO !!!!!Mevis for game-winning FG as time expires.
Fixed it for you.NOOOOOOO !!!!!
Too stressful. How about a 2+ score lead, late in the 4th quarter instead?![]()
The key to winning IMO is our offense. We face a dilemma defensively this week. Logic would possibly dictate that our bend but not break type of defense would be ideal for this game.
The Lions move the ball but then we hold them to FGs - we have done this a lot this year.
However - do we play it more aggressively knowing the lions run game and Goff's accurate short passes play well into that type of defense.
Do we risk getting dominated on time of possession.
How should we defend this week?
I'm good with that! There is enough stress around Xmas already.NOOOOOOO !!!!!

You make a great point and because Landman and Speights can't possibly stay with Gibbs, the D will be in Nickel and Dime a lot.I think dump offs will be a big part of this game if our Dline gets pressure, and those dump off to Gibbs can become explosives if our lbs are not in position. I hope Landman and Speights have their running shoes on.
