Since we play a majority of zone, would it make sense to play man this game? That’s how the Patriots beat Goff in 2018.

The key to winning IMO is our offense.

Game Plan:

Defense: Defend them the best we can. Bend, not break. FGs, not TDs.
Offense: Stafford can't have one of his off days, no TOs, run decently well.
I think if we can protect Stafford and just make Goff uncomfortable, we should be fine.

This will be a good test for McClendon which could determine our draft plans at RT. I rewatched the Cards game and McClendon looked very good. Had some pancakes in the run game and just handled guys on their pass rush. A different animal this week in Hutchinson however.

That's an interesting thought. I wonder if our corners can match up against their receivers without getting torched.

IMO The Rams CB backs have been improving. Not sure how to get to Goff though ? B. Young doing what he did against The Rams is scary though.Dan Campbell goes for it on 4th down & must be salivating .

Stafford was impressed & happy for Warren. Watching that game you never felt a pass rush against the cards.

I was wondering if Forbes was gonna be put on Amon-ra St Brown (spell?). He covered all-pro Jackson Smith Njigma (again spell?) very well so maybe he is excellent against smaller receivers? He certainly has the speed and the length so this could be a good matchup for the Rams. Take away their best receiver so they only have to worry about Jameison Williams (why do these receivers have such difficult names to spell!!!) And get off my lawn while you're at it!

They also tugged and pulled our receivers for most of the game and got away with it.
Pretty much bottled up our run game as well. If the Rams can pull it off, fine. But the officials tend to call illegal contact more during the regular season than the post season for some reason, though.

Just go out play our game, and let's get another W.
Pressure on Goff tends to do the trick.
