He got the nickname because he was a bully.
The article said he took toys so I’m assuming he was fairly young so maybe he’s turned his life around.

I suppose that's one way to look at it, although I believe this is missing a few other important factors. Woods is carrying near $68 mil. in CAP against the team for seasons 2022 thru 2025, so besides whatever 'savings' might be applied by trading him during the coming off-season, some $53 mil. would be coming off our future books
None of that $$ is guaranteed though. Could easily tear up that deal and write a new one after the year. The only guaranteed money is the 3.5 mill roster bonus. Whether they sign OBJ or not, Woods is on the last year of his deal
Should we sign OBj long term, his 2022 CAP hit is likely half what we are scheduled to pay Woods next year, although the real hit would come in 2023 & beyond while trying to absorb the salaries of 3 potential superstars in just this one unit. One other factor is player value and draft capital as we are not likely to receive near as much trade compensation in later years for Woods.
I'd like to see what the numbers would look like on an OBJ deal that would have a cap hit of 8 mill for 2022. He's going to get 18-20 mill per. And as much as I love Woods the player, his trade value coming off a knee injury at 30 is going to be very low

Hell, if my name was Tyshun I'd probably go with Deebo too.

WTF, how do you abuse your child with shit like that?

All the more reason to trade him and get some draft compensation during a year where we don't have much of that.
jmo.

And then take a 12 mill hit? Nah thanks.... He's worth the 3 mill he'll cost to play for the Rams vs playing for someone else. A 7th rounder isnt going to cut it.

Honestly, the guy that scares me is AD. After we win, he'll have what he's desired most. Of everyone, including Big Whit, AD is the one who sounds almost like "hey, if I win, I'll have won everything I wanted, so it's time to bounce". LORD, do I hope he's around for a good while longer, but we've seen stranger things.
AD isn't going anywhere just yet. But he is still the Rams' Super Bowl window. He's the reason we're in Win Now mode (though making a big splash in LA at SoFi has something to do with it too.).

As long as AD is playing at a high level Rams are in the hunt.

And after this last game we all saw what happens when a bully gets hit in the mouth.

Just rewatched the Rams whiners game. What I forgot was how HUGE a play Greg Gaines made on that last drive. Crapollo had a wide open running back about 7 yards up the field. He likely gets a first down or very close. Von Miller was closing in but Gaines knocked down that pass. The next play was the check down pass on the sideline that lost three yards then on 3rd and 13, the pass rush pressured Crapollo into tossing the game ending pick.

But without that batted down pass, the whiners may have started a drive down the field. Looking back we gotta send some love to Greg Gaines.

I believe Woods' trade value is more in the round 3 or 4 range. jmo.

The way to end the SOSAR bullshit is to go on a 17 game win streak against the whiners. Didnt they start their 17 game win streak with the win in the 89 NFCCG? Time to turn the tables with our young coach with a proven process to get wins and maximize the skill set of his players. This D has a lot of talent and much of it young, they have a few more yrs of being a dominant D if they can continue what they have been doing all along. Dont forget Demoff has a plan for getting deals done combine that with Les and the scouts seeming to find players to fill an up coming depth deficiency. This could be a very special time for our Rams.

Douchebo laughs at AD.

Wears that stupid chain.

Chirps on twitter.

That stupid boombox.

Laughs at AD again crying after losing to GB.

Gets a test of his OWN medicine yesterday. Not only does O'Dell (of all people) come to embrace him, so does Darious Williams.

You don't see Ram players busting out taunts or chains to shitter players, as deserved as they may be. Our team is amazing.
I love the whiny little Deebo TEARS. Sorry Deebo we watched your classless act when you won. Don’t have any sympathy for you when you lose. When you talk the talk you better walk the walk. You just took a stroll down the Niners WALK OF SHAME. Plenty of people dressed in red doing that walk at SoFi on Sunday. Quit your WHINING!

Well, frankly he's bullied us since get got into the league.
Yeah and he's the type of player you can't have enough of. You just want to avoid the ones who don't know where the line is. But the more competitive the better. The tougher the better. You can bet you're gonna draft some bullies if you follow that.

Yeah, but here's the thing. Kupp is too much the focus on offense and needs to be spelled a bit.

If we don't want to overuse Kupp, we NEED Woods.

I'm not worried about the money. That's merely a puzzle to be solved.

The issue is gonna be who wants to run it back and who wants to be paid.

I've gone through the season expecting other teams to finally figure out and stop the Stafford kupp connection but of course that hasn't happened. So now I say, why would we do that for other teams.. why try and fix what s not broken.

Noone gets open like kupp so let's ride this thing until teams prove they can stop it.

They can find the money to keep all 3 so let's have the 22 season with the best trio in the game and ride that to a second consecutive superbowl.
