I still cant believe the 49ers are going to pay JG 24 mill when they know he wont last the full season. Have to believe if Sudfeld or Rosen can show them anything, and by anything I mean Beathard/Mullens level, JG is outta there. His dead cap is only 2.8 mill, he's not the long term future, and with his injuries he isnt a short term future guarantee either.
I have to believe the 49ers are holding out hope a team has their QB go down in TC/PS (it seemingly happens every year) and then is willing to throw some value in a trade for #10. They trade for him, agreeing to a contract extension which drops that cap # and boom, that much closer to Lance playing

.

hopefully he's krapondickII.

keep him in the pocket and take away his first read. something the rams d is very adept at doing right now.

this is why i will never understand how the rams let foles go before training camp began. who knows if the vikings would have paid something for him instead of bradford when bridgewater went down.

sure i was happy foles couldn't transfer any bad aura to goff but i still thought it was odd they let him go like that.

A lot of 49ers fans have been patient with Shanahan. Even with an overall losing record. They had that one good year. 3 bad ones. Seems like the media love him too. If they go through another losing season because of the transition, his job will be safe. Even after 4 losing seasons out of 5. But if Lance doesn't turn out to be all that in his second year, will they have the same patience they have now?

Okay I'm tired of my normal shit... time to expand... are these two pretty damned good?

Best rum I've ever had. Has a little caramel taste. It's meant to be served on the rocks by itself... but I like mine mixed with Diet Coke. I love rum and I've tried most of them. This stuff is on a level by itself.

I'm straight up about to get my a bottle of both of those this weekend and do it up why studying all weekend. I usually don't drink things straight up and mix it with coke or something similar. But with your descriptions I might try on the rocks.

Try it that way 1st... but like I said, I like to mix mine with Diet Coke. Regular Coke makes it too sweet for me, but the Diet Coke is just perfect.

Papa's is pretty powerful,,, you'll be shit faced with a quickness if you're not careful.

That's an interesting point... Shanahan has this all set up to get another year, outside of a collapse.

Answering the original post, they trade Garappolo. The mean fact the are going to pay him 24mil to have his replacement on board seems far fetched.
This isn’t a Favre or Rodgers transition.

As a Rams fans I hope they keep him and the ship sinks.

Lynch was on cowherd saying that Lance was the pick all along but they kept it secret from everyone but the owner in order to let Lance fully have this moment. I’m not buying it, somebody let the Matt Jones story out, there has to be more they don’t want to say cuz that just sounds dumb. Of course Cowherd ate it up with all this stuff about what a tight ship the 9ers run that they kept this from everybody. Or maybe it’s that they don’t trust the personnel guys or scouts that have been working on this for months.
That still doesn’t answer why? The Jets could’ve traded the #2 for Cousins or Cam plus picks I guess, but even the jets aren’t that stupid, but you would imagine teams would be more likely to try to trade up if they believe Lance will still be there.

Yeah. A lot of sketchy reasons why they kept it quiet.
