The Rams want to keep both but have trouble believing they can keep both... von miller will likely still be here is my magic 8 ball.

I think OBJ has been great this year but I don't know if he's worth what he would cost to keep past this year. Am I the only one concerned that they actually pull him out of the game on running plays? Every Rams wide receiver but OBJ blocks their tails off, he's an all world talent but he avoids a lot of contact. I don't dislike him and his teammates seem to love him so if we can keep him that's fine but I'd rather have Woods all day, every day. Also, if we can only keep one I'd much rather keep Von.

I am in the camp of keeping Woods also. He is as valuable off the field than on the field and that speaks volumes. He is obviously the reason why Kupp is the way he is. You can’t replace that type of player.

OBJ has already been telling people that if they thought he was good with the Rams so far just wait till they see him next year in this offense with a whole offseason of work. He wants to be back.
His hands are just a really good fit here. The way the Rams play offense he fits, as that receiver who Stafford can gun the ball at even down in the redzone in traffic. He fits the QB basically. Those two on fades, I mean sweet music.

Any source to this? I definitely believe that's the case, but if he's actually telling people that already that's interesting because his representation must've had some talks with the Rams FO. Remember Rapaport tweeted this out 3 days ago:

The tweet is irrelevant because we have a handful of base salaries that will go up this year and eat that money and more, cap can be discussed after the super bowl. The most recent person I heard talking about it was Greg Olsen he was on I believe Cowherd the other day and talked about at the end of the season he called one of our games. He mentioned it then that when he and OBJ were talking before the game that comment was made that if you think I'm doing good right now in this offense just wait until next season.

No way Beckham is getting paid more than Kupp, he’s just not THAT good.

I could see all of the restructuring to make everyone fit. It seems like they have that kind of culture.

Abso-frickin-lutely!!!!
Rams will have some big $$ items to sort out possibly before FA signings
-Matt Stafford is only under contract for 2022, he'll have to be signed
-Cooper Kupp needs a contract extension, only has guarantee money of 7.5 mill in 2022 and $0 in 2023
-Is Aaron Donald going to look for one last pay day? No guaranteed money left other than roster bonus of 5 mill over remaining 3 years
-Are they ever going to spend $$ on the o-line?
Let's just enjoy the roster we have for 1 more game, win the Superbowl and sort all that shit out....

Yeah people don't stop to consider that he didn't even get the benefit of a camp to learn the offense. What he's done is miraculous. I do think he's gonna be even better next year if he sticks around. Really hope they figure this out.

The issue with Woody is gonna come down to the cap but not in terms of the Rams not being able to fit him, as I think Demoff is a magician and can do whatever he wants with the numbers. But rather the fact that if they do keep Odell then the money you're paying Woody could potentially help elsewhere.

If they do keep everyone that's great. I just think it's unlikely. Rams are going to make more hard decisions than just Woody this offseason IMO.

Anyone know the cap situation? I heard that Goff and Gurley were off the books and the cap should go back up after taking a hit last year, right?

So looking at the cap situation for 2022 which already appears to be updated to $208M by Sportstrac, where can we trim some fat??

Whit is gone, thats $17M. To me Leonord Floyd is not worth $20M. No fucking way, but we cant do anything with that dead cap hit until after 2022. He'll be gone a year from now. Love the way A'shawn Rob has played especially in the playoffs, but is he worth $10M? Parting ways saves us $6M. Johnny Hecker gone? That would be another $2M. Taylor Rapp?? To me he's not a starting safety in the NFL, $2.5M saved if we traded him.

I know we will extend Stafford and use other creative ways to create some more cap room, but there will definitely be some tough decisions made.
