Two troubled kids is no coincidence. I'm not a solving his kid of responsibility, but they obviously were never taught it.
No coincidence but no one understands how it works, 2 kids raised together in a similar fashion, one ends up in trouble their whole life one never gets a traffic ticket.

There's no chance Andy (or the team) isnt aware of his meds The dude went to prison over a drug issue and his other son died of a heroin overdose at the same time. The family history prior to those events was littered with drug use.
So, he as an adult, can’t go and get a prescription for adderal (or whatever) and not have the same hipa protections as everyone else?
Doubtful.

Lol.
Someone googled hipa protection. Maybe you'd like to share that info with the mother of that poor child.
And yes, if hiring a convicted felon an employer can request drug testing and based on the job requirements they can require being notified of an employee carrying a controlled substance.
Furthermore, his "boss" is his father, who if he didnt know his son was now taking a narcotic, that is either sad or a sign that Britt was "hiding" something.
Britt will face the music, and good luck to him in prison. Letting the org and Reid off is shameful, defending them just as bad

One dies of an overdose and the other was in jail. Not model citizens. Never getting a DUI could simply be luck.

While true, what does that have to do with the Reid's?

A friend of mine was pulled over for his 3rd DUI. Never hit anyone luckily.

It's a problem beyond the person's ability to do anything about it. Many of you are quick to condemn Reid's actions, but he really wasn't in control of himself. I'm sure it's hard on his father, who tried to help him by keeping him close. Obviously, Andy's generosity has backfired.

There are TENS OF MILLIONS of American's who are dependent on drugs - alcohol or prescription.

Condemnation - or the "war on xyz" - does nothing to help no one (including the innocent).

These people need serious, serious help.

My friend got it luckily, and I pray that he stays sober.

I didn’t google anything.
I was asking a question.
I’ve hired people plenty of times, never had occasion to root around in their medical info.
Never hired an ex felon, not that I know of anyway.
Asking questions or saying this idiot should be held accountable for his actions is not defending the organization.
But, hey, thanks for being a dick.

When I first saw the news on the crawl I immediately thought "What an idiot!" I was concerned that it would screw the Chief's game up and take up a lot of Reid's thoughts and maybe him thinking life is more important than football and all that.

Then at the beginning of the game when the announcers mentioned BOTH tackles were out for the Chiefs I thought oh for fucks sake just hand the shit over to Brady already. All of this couldn't have come at a worse time.

More importantly I hope the victims survive this.

Not holding the organization accountable for looking the other way is unconscionable. And if being more concerned about an innocent 5 year old girl than in blindly defending a football team makes me a dick, then so be it

No one is defending the organization.

Under the heading of "the Super Bowl is rigged"...

wait... the chin strap on my aluminum foil hat catches... lemme just adjust it.... and... okay, we're good...

Andy Reid's son crashing his car into those two vehicles and harming those children would have made a Chief's win untenable for the NFL. How could the NFL justify the Chiefs celebrating while a little girl fought for her life in a KC hospital and another was critically injured?

So... tons of flags in the first half... enough to set the tone and put the Bucs up enough that the Chiefs weren't gonna catch 'em.

Oh, and if by some miracle the Chiefs got close? Bet those flags woulda come back out...

I honestly don't think they needed to do anything because that Bucs pass rush was like a jail break every play, but yeah. They really sent a message that "yo, you ain't winnin' this game"

Also, still praying for all the people involved in that crash and that this incident is investigated fully. Hopefully, both children recover fully and have no lasting ill effects.
