I really hate the nepotism you see in the NFL. Just irks me man. His dipshit son just bent him and the org over most likely (assuming he got lit at the facility).

And yes it's a tragedy too I just hate to see some guy who has a history of DUI be positioned like that dude was.

No doubt. Hard to keep your thoughts on a game considering the circumstances. Cannot fucking stand people that get behind the wheel after drinking, that goes ten fold for people that have money and have no problem affording an uber but instead puts lives at risk. Straight up pos.

I hope for 3 things...
1). Both children fully recover.
2). This idiot never gets to drive again. Hx of DWI(DUI)
3). The NFL/Owners wake up and end the hiring or employment of idiots like this.

No compassion for people, no matter who they are, when they willfully endanger the lives of others.

Nfl coaching has been a family business for a long time, pretty much every guy who has a son(maybe daughters will get a chance now too) has given him a job on his staff. From Belichek on down they’re all over the place, and as long as dad stays employed so does junior. Even McVay had family connections to get him started. Just like every other business out there.

Its disgraceful that the Hunt nor Reid families didnt step right up and cover all expenses. Just goes to show that regardless of how it turns out, the true character has already been revealed.
Now Reid will step down, they will elevate Bienemy to HC and they will try to fool the media that they do the right thing.
Total disgrace.

If that happens I owe you big time, it wasn't Andy Reid that was involved and his sons have not done him any favors, also we don't know if they will step up, Clark Hunt is highly regarded in so many areas of the Kansas City Community, so I foresee him stepping up.

If nobody's steps up here, I agree whole heartily with you, but one has to surmise the Hunt family will do something.

I hope the organization does the right thing here. I pray for the child and all involved to heal. For justice to prevail.

It's already too late, should have been done before they even suited up. I like Reid, feel terrible for him as a father, however he has to accept responsibility here. Enabling his kid is not doing him any good, and now there are children much worse for wear.

It's a tragic story for several reasons. I don't know who or what is to blame that both of Andy Reid's sons have severe substance abuse problems but it's killed one of them and almost killed another and now has shattered another family because of it. I'm sure it's a bit of a lot of things from mental disease to growing up privileged with a lack of learning self worth to being around a world where substance abuse can be easily had with money. Whatever the reasons it's a god damn tragedy it had to ruin other lives. And I agree, the fact that the Chiefs have not offered to cover medical costs is appalling. Hell, a rookie with the Lions who has no ties to this story has donated to help for god sakes...

Another article on the Reid brothers.

In this day and age I don't understand how a person get get behind a wheel while being high or drunk. You can do things in life that you will never be able to make amends. Taking a child's life is one of them. You totally destroy a Family, they will never truly recover. I will be praying for these kids to make a complete recovery. I hope this pos has to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Speaks volumes for the type of man Jeff Okudah is. I know very little about him but I’m a fan as of today.

We don’t really know the situation and it’s easy to take shots at Reid. His kids are clearly troubled and it’s possible that he thought structure working for his dad would help keep him out of trouble.
I see that at least one Chiefs player is trying to help, the lawyers probably told the organization not to do anything right now but this doesn’t look good on them.

Reasons they struggled.....
Back up tackles could not block well enough one on one.
The Chiefs offense was made one dimensional by the dominance of Tampa’s DL and eventually the score.
Chiefs didn’t have the secondary talent to hang with Tampa without getting pass pressure from their DL.
Tampa was the more physical team that didn’t give up the big play.
I wonder how different the game may have been if KC OL was healthy.

IDK, not disagreeing with you, but for Hunt IMO, you have to let the process play out, nothing has been determined as of yet, but I tend to agree I believe I would have done something by now.

I suppose we may see but I don't buy this one bit. If anything, my guess is that he and his behavior were being protected by his dad's position. If he left the facility after having "2 or 3 drinks" (yeah right), I don't buy for one second that no one knew he was doing this on a regular basis and then driving home or where ever.

And a little girl may pay with her life while a family is forever damaged while the organization remains silent and works to cover their asses. Sickening.
