I don't get all this talk about the team being a shell of its former self. Gurley is the only change on offense. And he was a only a shell of his former self in that offense. A team that was top ten statistically and 11th in scoring. A far cry from the previous two years, but not bad considering the regression of Gurley and the injuries to the line. And Cooks injury limiting him the second half of the season.
But maybe that is the thing. The previous two years have spoiled us. We want to get back to that. Just being a playoff contender isn't enough. The way I see it, its damn near impossible to field a Superbowl contender every year. If you field a consistent playoff contender and a Superbowl contender every few years, that is pretty darn good. I think that is what our team will be over the years. And that my friends, is a far cry from the days of "Dude, its the Rams".
Well said , the addition of Kevin O’Connell will make a huge difference.
Kromer gets to concentrate on the O”line as well.
The Corbett trade worked out nicely. He helped solidify the left side.
This offensive line will continue to group. Just look at the depth now going into 2020 compared to 2019.
I’d like to see The Rams draft Jonathan Taylor. The 2 first round pick for RAMsey were costly, especially since he has not been resigned. The depth on defense I’m not sure about?? The Rams have 3 young players that should be fun to watch develop in the preseason.
The Rams will draft a RB 2020,and have a couple players circled for sure.
This will be huge draft for MCSNEAD . As Les Snead always says, winning the division in APRIL!!!
My question would be though at what price would it be to take Johnathan Taylor in first or second RD ??
Is it better to move up into the
1st. Rd. to get The 5 Years?? or 2nd rd with only the 4 years ??
I think he will be there late 1st. & would solidify The Rams RB situation & The Rams young offense can grow together for years.
