You've been laying it on kinda thick lately, eh? At what point do YOU decide there are not enough good plays to consider this team a good team? Teams lose and people will talk about why. You seem to be on a crusade to covince the board that "its not that bad"......but guess what, it is that bad and the stench of a losing record AGAIN is going to hover no matter how hard YOU try to clean it up.

I'm a positive person by nature and try to avoid constant negativity, but even I can see that something is just not quite right here with the Rams.
Didnt realize we were talking about the entire team based on one tweet by some guy who has an agenda against Greg Robinson. But as far as me laying it on pretty thick, that's just going to be the way it is from me. That's the way I approach things. I just don't see a boatload of negative consequences based on the over analyzation and drawing of conclusions associated with one play. But that's just me. I tend to think about things as opposed to rendering snap judgments in conjunction with the direction of the wind at any given moment.

Could be wrong, but I don't think he's trying to convince the board "it's not that bad".

I think, and I agree, that the piling on and the repetitive negative posts are not characteristic of THIS board.

That's what I take from his posts.

All message boards of losing teams are pretty much the same... this board is no different than any others. Some are much much worse.

meh.....QBKlass is a writer that really works hard on the "technical" aspects of sports blogging. The gifs, charts, and extraneous data that try to show how a player really is...Most "writers" rarely use the most important sense of all, his eyes.
While not perfect, G-Rob and the line AGAIN showed that they ARE NOT the main problem with this offense....and truthfully, I think the interior of the line is in worse shape than the tackles...and I think RT is playing worse than LT. Holy smokes alright...344 total yards, drops, turnovers, penalties, and we have time to worry about a 24 year old third year player...

Greg is really bad at cut blocking.

But watch Rob and Saffold. That play was ruined by penetration. Both guys were set to seal the defenders on the second level out of the play.

It's been atrocious all year up front!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean no offense by this - but I really don't believe that.

Unless maybe someone joined in 1999 and hadn't really been a Rams fan before that...

No biggie(y)

We just disagree

This board was intended not to become a flame board as I understand it.

X does a really good job of describing what the intent of this board was to be....better than I can.

I agree as well, but lets not cover a pile of crap with sugar, then pour syrup on it and complain when we get a tooth ache.

This team, for the 4 games at least, is a freaking tooth ache.

'Some' talk will be negative, thats the life of a losing franchise.

Heck, let's just give the entire offense one of those participation trophies.

I can guarantee it.
I was the first member.

Keenum overwhelmed by Carolina pass-rush

Quarterback grade: Case Keenum, 40.7

Rams QB Case Keenum has struggled under pressure all season, and currently ranks dead last among NFL quarterbacks in both adjusted accuracy percentage (48.7) and QB rating (31.2) under pressure. This game was no exception, as Keenum finished 7-for-17 for 64 yards with an interception under pressure, and was sacked four times. While both quarterbacks faced relentless pressure in this game, Newton was able to finish the game without a turnover, while Keenum’s interception to Panthers LB Thomas Davis with pressure in his face led to a Carolina field goal. In a defensive battle like this one, the difference between winning and losing often comes down to a handful of plays. In fairness to Keenum, he threw a fourth-quarter pass to TE Lance Kendricks on 3rd-and-7 in the red zone that Kendricks let fall through his hands. The Rams were forced to settle for a field goal, and that dropped touchdown was every bit as impactful as the interception.

I put this in here to show you...perception is not often reality...I happen to use a fav whipping boy during tough times...the starting QB. It says here that his lone int was caused by "pressure". OKAY.... I watched the game and during that drive, we we're gaining the mo..the MOMENTUM. And we were running and passing effectively. Overcoming stupid penalties. And that throw was NOT under ANY pressure. Yet here it is...
G-Rob isn't perfect...but he's far from the reason for the general ineffectiveness of the offense. Yeah, that was a pitiful attempt at a cut block...That to me is still on coaches. Stop telling him to do what YOU want him to do...let him do what he's good at. Drive blocking...

"It's just one play but good lord that was a bad play. Just watch every o-lineman there.... did anyone do anything at all?"

Looked like Barnes took his guy out, although the stunt helped him out there

I will say this much i been roasting Greg Robinson almost all season but he played pretty well this game. When I was watching this game this one in particular jumped out to me because I noticed how far Greg got pushed back (it appeared in real time). I didn't hear any penalties with his name which I loathe. As some have pointed out Saffold had a far worse game than G Rob Sunday.

I hate that we are here again, 3-5, on a losing streak, with little leaks in too many places but we know WE can't change the state of affairs with the team. So let's praise the good, point out what we think needs to be done and try and not drive any player/s into the ground. You think any of the Rams want to lose? You think any of the coaches want to lose? We got fixes that have to happen and happen pretty damn quick if we don't want this season to get ugly. Besides the opener, we really haven't seen a game we couldn't have won. Although our O is often painful to watch and the end results suck hind teat on a dead cow lately, there lurks hope in a proper change if it'll ever come. Cross your fingers for that and buy a speed bag for the meantime so you don't break any of your sheeeeet around the house!

This^^ ... like, times a million.

The coaches are asking the OL to do stuff they are not well-suited for, and not letting them do what they are best at.

You what I find most disturbing (beyond Wichmann taking an outside angle on his guy) is that by design this play is set up for Gurley to beat Kuechly by design.
