I guess I will start this off with a small one. I've been through many things that I wouldn't do again, knowing how it could have went and didn't.

This is a short story about the time I fully believe I came close to being shot in St.Louis.

Anyone who knows downtown St.Louis, close to Busch Stadium, there is a White Castle....I dont know the exact location but it is fucking terrible. The gas stations there have bullet proof glass to make exchanges.

We had just watched a Cardinals game at the stadium, we had a few drinks and the guy I was with had/has a bad tendency for saying stupid shit.

Well, we got our food and he decided to park in the parking lot like an idiot. I didn't think too much of it. I was eating and noticed in front of us was a group of about 6-7 guys....we will call them....unsavory at best. The buzz I was feeling allowed me to not think much of it.

As I was crushing my 77th burger, he nudges me. And I look and he was looking at what seemed like his first fat ass. Big ole booty. Lol he was beyond obvious about looking.

Right as that was happening, our car became surrounded by those upstanding gentlemen I spoke about earlier. One of them leaned in the driver's side window and said something along the lines of "don't you just love a girl with a big ass?" As he reached in and took my buddies White Castles. Then, that cutie with booty walked over and hugged the burger thief. I noticed that the guy at his window kept his right hand under the front of his shirt and then I saw it. The mf that was by my window had the same move with the hand, only I swe the shine of his polished pistol in his band.

This was it. This was how I was going to die. All over a bitch with a fat ass at a GD tiny burger joint in the middle of the fuckin hood after a Cardinal loss. Lol

Then...woop woop. Cops roll up with the siren at the gas station near by. In no time, those upstanding gentlemen made their way from us.

We got the fuck out of there. My buddy lost all his damn White Castles tho. We stopped in Eureka on the way home and got him some more.

I got an East St. Louis story for you, Juggs.

I’m going back to 1997ish...

We went over one night to PT’s, or whatever that pack of joints was right over the river into Illinois back then.... (Thats a story in itself, BTW).

It was fairly safe over there if you stick to the regular streets... we got lost. We drove up to a lady walking on the streets and she put her hands up. That’s when we knew we were in a bad part.

Not a few minutes later a cop drove up. Told us to follow him. He escorted us to safe streets.

Back then, I was young and dumb and laughed it off. Never felt in danger really, but I guess that was a dangerous place. :D

Yea, I've been over there to go to PT's as well. Lol we got lost as well, with the same guy as a matter of fact. We ended up at what I believe was a 7-11 to get back on track. Nothing shady that night though....I mean except for PTs lol

Hah! I remember when my mom, dad, and us kids (I don't remember if the youngest was born yet) went home from picking apples in Illinois. We ended up at one of the worst parts of East St. Louis, completely lost, and my mom and dad were scared that we were going to get robbed or shot or both. We (the kids) didn't know any better, but now that I look back at it, things could've definitely turned out for the worst that day.
