Depends on his salary demands. But at his age I'd rather draft one in the 3rd round then give up the pick. I think this year we may see Donald on the edge with Turner at 3T.

Never get him for a 3rd it would take a 1st or two 2nd Rd picks. I say look around in free agency to add a few pieces and keep building thru the draft.

I wouldn't give up the 3rd much less a package like that.

I completely agree. Made that point yesterday, with the 2nd post on this thread.

That's why I asked the question. Some posters just said ... Go get him ... and I wonder what they mean.

Not sure why you think that. Jalen Ramsey went for a 3rd round pick (and a backup TE). Why would Reddick get such a big price?

The 3rd round comp pick for Morris would work, wouldn’t need to extend his contract
Id still draft an edge with the 1st round pick if someone is there who dropped

Edit-
Oof that contract. He’ll cost 18+ mill, basically breaks even for the Eagles

50.5 sacks the last 4 years. 83 QBH. 144 solo tackles. Besides those abilities, he's got availability. Missed 1 game. What's that worth? Are we gonna get that from a 3rd round draft pick? A 2nd? Depends on what the Rams brass believes. I wouldn't be upset if we passed on him and I wouldn't be upset if we gave up a 2nd for him. Or a 2024 2nd and a 2025 3rd if he signed an extension (3 yrs?). Hell we traded a 2nd and 3rd for Von Miller and he was 32 at the time. With no extension.

Yeah, obviously gotta do it for the right price. Sources in Philly say this is a contract dispute and he wants crazy money. So it could be a non starter but I'd take him on his contract now but he'll want more money the last two years and I'm not above paying him more.

He's an absolute stud.

I'd send our 2nd and our late 3rd.

No thanks. Reddick is a 29 year old pass rush specialist. He had 11 sacks and 38 combined tackles with only 23 QB hits.

I’d trade them a sixth or a swap of picks like the Rams did to get Dotson to get Reddick, but he’s not a great edge setter vs the run. His stats are down from last season.

They could sign a guy like him without trading picks.

Not really concerned with QB hits. I don't think it's a stat that provides much context for how good a pass rusher is... however, 23 is not nothing to sneeze at!

56 QB pressures last year. That's the stat.

He's fine against the run for what he is and possibly better in a permanent OLB role with those responsibilities than at DE. But if you're looking for a Floyd or a Burns, yeah, he's not them.

I get the age concern but not convinced he's slowing down as last year was a dumpster fire on defense for Eagles and there was absolutely no help from the back 7 for him.

Two reasons; first the Rams were looking to move on from Ramsey and second pressuring the QB seems to be a point of emphasis.

Pass on Reddick: too old and too rich for the Rams.
The Eagles have a great defensive line, secondary and linebacking corp. Reddick benefited from that strong DL.

Eagles had arguably the worst secondary and linebackers in the league last year.
