Brah you need a schedule like mine. Tues-Sat.
Sun-Mon off.
200.webp
I had the opportunity to have Thurs, Fri and Sundays off but didnt want to switch supervisors. I have managed to watch most of the 3 games that were played or started while I was working. Took the day off to go to the saints game. Super Bowl Sunday was the 1st Sunday I worked in over 20 years. I will now have the ability to take the day off when the Rams return to the SB.

Gurley is right. Thursday night games have been notoriously putrid overall and there have been a lot of injuries in the past. The NFL is too violent of a game to have teams playing two game in four days. It would make more sense if you had more than 53 players on a roster and were allowed to have at least 53 active for every game.

Based on Gurley’s comment and his moping when he’s on the field does this guy even have the passion to play football anymore?

Maybe that’s McVay’s issue with the guy and why he hardly uses him. Probably tired of his Ricky Williams bullshit and is trying to find a way to push him out.

yikes

not sharing that opinion

The fans are the ones making them and the owners rich

Pretty sure the players do that since we only watch football because of them. Gurley is allowed to have this opinion and I firmly believe 95 percent of players would share it. And you think people in the military don't whine and complain? Have you met anyone who was in the military? It's all they do! And we all know cops never complain about anything ever. It's so weird to be offended like you are over such a nothing comment from Gurley.

Can't you read ? I said the fans are the ones making the players and owners rich .
I'm not offended by Gurley's statement at all . He voiced his opinion and I voiced mine . Calm down

They should switch it to Friday or Saturday night. The NFL should not care about High School or College Football - most of it is unwatchable.

Why shouldn't they care about their free minor leagues?

Because 90% of it is noncompetitive football. It's garbage.

I'm an Ohio State fan and was literally falling asleep at the end of the OSU/Nebraska game Saturday night.

There were regular season NFL games last year with higher ratings than the National Championship in college football. It's garbage and the NFL should be heavy handed with them for the sake of player safety.

I'm glad we are playing this Thursday so maybe it'll help erase that loss to the Bucs from my memory. Other than that, I'm really neutral on TNF. I can see where players would hate it, especially older players that need a little extra healing time in between games. This should be a game where we see Gurley a lot. He wasn't over used Sunday and he'll have extra rest the following week so..............
