Let's see, intentionally hurting other players, sexually harassing female reporters, making racist comments, questionable conduct with 16 year olds... need I go on? Yeah he's a sleaze
He sounds like a shoe in for the Pats front office.
He certainly seems to understand the Patriot way.

His next venture, competing with the 'Rock' for stardom in 'B' grade movies.

If the Rock is a solid 8.5 for action movies, bumped to a 9 with the budget, Gronk would be lucky to be at at 2... 1 if the part was a speaking role...

Great player, great team mate (seems to be). Some people just hate ya no matter what you do. Wish he had been a Ram

Jared Cook won’t drop Brady passes, the NFL doesn’t allow it. The Patriots never commit a penalty either...Patriot Way

Report: Gronkowski mulling retirement to pursue Hollywood career
as actor

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is reportedly considering retiring from football to pursue a career in Hollywood as an actor.

Citing a source, Bill Burt of The Eagle-Tribune reported Tuesday night that Gronkowski has been told by two acting superstars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Sylvester Stallone, that he could make millions of dollars in action films.

Theoretically, he could. It's unlikely. He'd have to luck into a supporting role that made him look very good. The thing is, action films are really dependent on the international market - where very few have any idea who he is. China especially is key to it. Apparently the Rock is huge there. Stallone of course has 40 years of name recognition. Gronk is just another steroid head looking guy - he's not going to be allowed to carry a big budget film - he just doesn't have the name for the budget. Even in the US he's not a name that is going to get people excited for opening weekend. If he's retiring for that, then he's foolish. If he's retiring because he's tired of the beatings he gets during football season, and thinks that trying to act would be fun - fine.

People always surprise me ... Who would have thought that Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Adam Sandler, Vin Diesel or even Arnold Schwarzenegger could make millions in Hollywood ?

I was sort of hoping Gronk would power bomb Brady on the way out. Who knows, maybe he still will.:mrburnsevil:

A lot of it depends on how much the films cost to make. Four of those five are action stars, and action films have mostly gotten insanely expensive. Schwarzenegger had early successes to be a big name. Van Damme made cheap martial arts type films, that carried him for a while. Ditto for Seagal - notice both have faded away. Diesel got a rep in a couple of cheap films, and managed to get the right role in a series, otherwise his career would be more dead than it is. Sandler - well, his films are cheap, and resonate with a small crowd. That's why Netflix loves him and except for the Hotel Transylvania films, that is his career now. Netflix doesn't need a lot of viewers, they need to find a variety of content that keeps different viewer sets subscribing. But the current huge budget action films need a star who gets people to attend opening weekend - especially internationally, because those films aren't made unless they have huge guarantees from international distributors. Gronk doesn't have a name to draw in viewers, so he will have to take relatively low paying supporting roles - and if he does well, maybe he can move on to the big paychecks. But there are many muscular no-names who can actually act to do those roles. Given the length of time to release big budget films - how many people in the summer of 2021 are going to be excited that his film is opening at the local multiplex? How many of them aren't related to him?

He made some lewd comments to female reporters, yeah, he's an idiot. Like I said, a 12 year old in a grown man's body. I've literally never heard of the other instances you described, outside of the 16 year old thing being a picture he took with two girls on vacation right?

Intentionally hurting White, and I believe that Gronkowski used a bullshit excuse to justify it.

The guy is a complete scumbag.

Stallone will put him in The Expendables 7 or whatever number they're on. That will get him started.

Don't sell the Rock short, he's a 10. Anything he's in, I will watch.
