Meanwhile

Johnny Hekker has no where near the amount of punts inside the 20 that he had in the last few years

Can't have both

He’s currently 21/22 on field goals. On pace for 48 FGM. The record is 44 set by David Akers in 2011. What a weapon he’s become.

The only sad part is his only miss was the easiest and cost us a chance to at least go to OT with Seattle.
But he’s been lights out for sure. Im with Champ though rather have more TD’s. :)

Everybody would like more TDs but nobody would be happy if GZ was missing FGs. GA is on pace to accomplish something, let's celebrate success.

1985 Bears scored 456 points with only 17td passes

Lol and yet we are on a higher scoring pace than that too. So my point stands. I doubt anyone has ever averaged 30 ppg with less than 30 TD passes. The only one I can find that comes close is the 1991 Redskins - averaged 30 ppg with exactly 30 TD passes.

Hard to tell those are really selective numbers. Only 8 teams in the last five years averaged 30+ ppg.

I wondered while watching the Cardinals game if we're going to set an NFL record for most point with least amount of passing TDs by a team in a season..

Don't care how they score as long as they score plenty.

This is the right thread to bring up that insane FG for what, 53 yards with almost no time on the clock and no timeouts (2nd quarter)? No lead up and barely time for everyone to get set, and he kicks this long FG.....Probably the most rushed 50+ yard FG I have every seen.

That will be on a highlight reel somewhere....
