I just don't think they have any cap room, except for minimum players. They'll likely cut some non-minimum players as it is.

If there is an injury, and somebody is available close to minimum, that might change that - though not necessarily even then.

Cap space is very tight, and there will be injuries in training camp and during the season, necessitating additional spend.

The new DLine coach should have an idea if Luiget is still productive enough or not. But if he thinks he is then some restructuring may free up enough to sign him.

The problem with restructuring is that money for 2020 is already tight. Goff is due a huge raise, both starting cornerbacks are free agents, Littleton is a free agent, Brockers is a free agent, etc. Restructuring somebody to get a free agent this season means that the issues will be worse in 2020 and possibly beyond. So it's got to be for somebody that the coaches think will be a huge improvement over what they have currently - and won't interfere with developing young players they have and like.

Perfect fit for Suh. Can sleepwalk through the regular season and not have to worry about turning it on for the postseason.

He certainly isn't chasing any Championships now. He's off to Tampon.

One thing that a lot of us are forgetting is that McCoy has been injured for much of his career. How much does he have in the tank at this point is anybody's guess. Another thing to consider is that Mr. Brockers is quite the opposite in that he has remained relatively healthy throughout his career with the Rams.
I say stay the course and say no to McCoy.

What’s funny is Geno Atkins turned out to be the best player between them in that draft. And he wasn’t taken until the 4th round.
