Cook drops another crucial 3rd down pass that hit him in stride, waist level, on the hands.

Jared "The sure choke" Cook.

Horse collar is a garbage rule. Seen four of them called today. Yeah it can be dangerous...rarely. Essentially the rule is telling defenders to watch & chase instead of making a tackle.

I'd like to see the numbers over the last 3 decades on players severely injured by horse collar vs players severely injured by legal run-of-the-mill tackles.

IMO this is just another overkill rule change made for safety that's contributing to the NFL's modern flagfest culture.

They just can’t cover at all. If their pass rush doesn’t get there they are toast.
Even with Fitzpatrick getting two turnovers today.
Their OC or Tomlin don’t help the young QB at all. Although their O looking pretty bad week one and two as well.

That's one of the newer rules, it sucks but the league put it in.

49ers will probably limp out of this week with a win, feeling good about the fact they barely beat a wounded and dying Steelers team. Paper tiger team if I've ever seen one.

Although the Steelers have been able to grab the lead twice, so they could actually end up dropping this one if they aren't careful.

One thing about Murray after watching his first 3 games. Yeah he's fast, quick when he runs but being as small as he is, he's a short strider and has trouble escaping the pocket using just pure speed. He gets caught a lot from behind by bigger guys. His in game acceleration isn't near as good as i thought it was.
