Running game is killing us. Can’t get into a groove if you gain only 1-2 yards. Our bread and butter is in the play action. First drive was excellent but very poor after that.

Interesting that Williams has twice as many carries as Akers. Running game isn't there.

My Halftime expert summary:

1. Oline looks solid in pass pro

2. Puka about to break out - fantasy alert!

3. Hoecht- huge liability

4. Pass rush a huge problem

5. Raheem mixing in some blitz pressure - need more

6. Kendrick toasted in 1 on 1

7. Ernest Jones looking solid

8. Run defense not bad up the middle - Hoechts edge needs to be addressed.

9. Stafford pretty sharp

10. Maher 0-2 on 50+

11. Kyren getting more snaps then Akers

12. Mcvay play calls are really conservative. Need to open it up in second half.

13. A. Jackson had some key mistakes but still showing potential if he can get back in it.

14. We are still in the game on the road and getting the ball first.

15. Geno to comfortable. Need more pressure.

Crappy debut for Zeke Elliott in New England. Only five touches and fumbled already.

Dear God these special teams. That said not a bad first half by the Rams. We're in the game which is what matters.

Our youth and/or lack of quality is showing on defense. In the front seven there really aren't many options to replace them. Secondary does have some options though, and the safeties looked pretty good. So the defense as a whole looks as expected. I think the coverage will improve too, once they juggle some roles.

Stafford looks pretty sharp but missed on what could have been a very big play when he threw that ball behind Nacua in four minute. That said they moved the ball, we just don't have the kicker to seal it unless you get close to the redzone.

I love the gameplan. Rams kept it balanced early and Seattle was reeling on defense. Let's go back to that run game second half before the score gets out of hand and it won't matter.

Rams let walk the only good aspect of the special teams. 6 points left on the board already.

I love that against a div rival, in a very hostile scene with a hyped up crowd, this young roster is going through all the inevitable growing pains process without losing our ability to remain competitive.

striking that balance was always going to be essential if this season was going to be enjoyable
