Puka looks like Kupp did in Kupp's rookie year. That bodes well.

At the half, some players are about what we expected - Hoecht, Rozeboom, Noteboom, Kendrick. Secondary play has been meh, WR play meh (Kupp out really hurts).

Line looks a bit better, especially on pass protection, for the first time together in a real game. Some youngsters not looking bad for first game.

Going to take patience and a realization that talent-wise, we have some serious gaps.

At least we will get a sense of needs and what we have to build on.

Ugly half all around. I think it’s going to be a long frustrating season. The D wasn’t bad , but Kendrick’s will be a liability all year. The offense started great , then couldn’t do anything. Special teams look bad. Dammit
