Looked to me like Clark came off his assignment to make that play. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the defense
My son just read Goff had 4 pick 6's in his entire Rams career. And they said this TIES a career high for Stafford. So he had 4 pick 6's before in one season! Yikes.
Well my apologies. Saw it on the first drive ,then couldn’t watch only to see The Rams down 7-0. GF said just happened as Insaid again. I said you saw it,she said yes & Ram players were fight amongst themselves.Now I didn’t look up to even see him throw an earlier wobbling pass to end the 1st qrt.
Frustrating,because now the blame goes on the defense again. To stops & go back on defense for a 3rd time down 7-0 ??
Is Stafford that much "better" than Goff to give up 2 firsts?
I would argue that he is marginally better and at most worth a 2nd rounder.

So... I was hoping that with Stafford we got someone who could really open up the playbook... AND be a steady hand and not make as many critical mistakes as Goff.
I was wrong with the AND part. In fact, Stafford seems to have games where he's every bit as jittery, if not moreso than Goff. Goff played in plenty of important games, Stafford hasn't.
I hate to be that guy.. but, we're seeing what we're seeing.
And, yes... I blame McVay for going empty deep in their own end with a QB who has repeatedly shit the bed there this season.

That sucked, but that was less Stafford than the DB taking a huge risk and getting lucky.
His inaccuracy on other passes is more concerning to me TBH.

Maybe so - seemed like a couple of Rams receivers too close together, too, maybe. We just seem to be pressing a bit when we don't need to be. Happens a lot, especially early in games.
